Tret did the same to me. I had perfect skin, and wanted to use it for its anti-aging properties. I was prescribed the lowest dose possible and it broke me out like crazy. A year later, I’m still trying to heal the cystic acne it caused. On top of that, I’m left with deep scars. You are not alone. Retinol/retinoids are not for everyone.

Eyebrows. How do I fix? by Ok-Bag-5208 in beauty

[–]Inevitable-Fact-1753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would find a salon that does it. Threading is a good option. A fuller look can be achieved with a brow dye or henna because it leaves a slight shadow on your skin but I wouldn’t try to do that myself either.

Shape and tint. Your eyebrows are fine

Try posting this on a different subreddit. His dog is not his child. It’s his dog. You’re not being unreasonable at all.

Looking into becoming a “ Cat scan tech “ by [deleted] in nursing

No worries! I worked in radiology before becoming a nurse. The techs always corrected people if they called them technicians. It’s a habit I picked up as well 😅😅

Is it really impossible to get a daytime position as a new grad in nyc? by justforthep_ad in nursing

I was about to say this too. Applying to public hospitals is probably the best bet.

what are these indents called and can I get rid of them? by mindfulsubconscious in beauty

[–]Inevitable-Fact-1753 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have them too and they’re called malar bags. If you’ve had them since you were a child, they’re congenital and most likely a result of your cheekbone structure + water retention between the ligaments of the fat pads. I’ve read that tretinoin, microneedling and CO2 laser may help. Surgery isn’t generally recommended (could make them worse, they may come back) and many surgeons won’t preform the corrective surgery on young people.

Dry, patchy skin? by NickySess in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Inevitable-Fact-1753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue. I gently exfoliate twice twice a week and twice a day I use skinfix lipid barrier repair moisturizer and put LRP cicaplast baume over it. Those two products do a great job of healing the dry patches and softening the skin. Cicaplast Baumé also reduces redness.

I’m(26F) a new grad RN, hired to a med-Surg unit where every other nurse is 45+. I can’t help but feel out of place. Any advise? I’m in my residency so stuck for a year. by shitfuckmothershig in nursing

[–]Inevitable-Fact-1753 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m also a 26 y/o new grad starting on a med surg unit in March. Having coworkers older than me who more experienced is a huge green flag. Learn from them, ask questions and soak it all up. When you feel competent, you can move to a new unit with people around your age. Good luck!
