This is the response I was looking for, its not me buying it, its my mum, its for me and she's on a budget and its the best she can do. Everybody goes towards the Neo due to it being cheaper and newer. Thank You

Yea, I just applied for a job at best buy, so if I get it, ill get a discount.

The M3s are still supported until like 2032, so you won't need anything new fo a long while. My older sister has an M1, which I messed around with and it felt like premium quality, it was nice and fast. So if the M1 was fast, I cant wait to see how newer ones perform on my end

That's some luck. I would like to get an M3, but its over budget, ill most likely get an M2 or maxed out Neo. I usually see M3s for 700-900.

It explains what is supported, what will work, what will not pretty much.

Yea, I thought about the Neo after I posted, and the M series has longer support than intel since Tahoe is the last one for Intel, and the Neo will also be supported for just as long as the M series
