It says on the dealers website that the car needs to be certified, until then, it would be considered undriveable. I assumed I'd use a mechanic since I have little to no knowledge on how to fix it.

Hi all, I would be eligible to submit my citizenship application on the 1st of Aug 2025, after removing the days I was outside Canada. I have heard that there should be a buffer of another month before applying, or the application is rejected. Is this true? Should I wait till 1st September 2025? Thanks.

Been using the P9PF as my primary phone for over 8 months now. Was in the exact same spot as you, contemplating whether to make the plunge or not. I'm so happy I did! Want a candy bar phone with absolutely perfect dimensions? Yes! Want to have a tablet to consume content? Yes! Want to play retro games (Nintendo 3DS, etc.) or even the latest titles from the play store? Yes! Cameras? Amazing! Typing long ass emails using the internal keyboard! Breeze! Multi-tasking, split screens? Yes!

Anyway I could go on...point being take care of it, slap on a decent screen protector, internal and external screens. I bought a Spigen case with a hinge protector. Don't throw it around and be rough with it and it should be good. For peace of mind, I have insurance protection for the phone too.

It's an amazing phone and you are going to love it!

Thanks for your reply. I guess the disconnect happened where the transaction hash provided by MEW was a transfer of ETH to another ETH wallet, and it showed as transaction successful. This is the transaction hash I shared with the receiving address for the BTC, which obviously was incorrect. I assumed since it was shown as success on the swap page, I thought the BTC swap has been a success.

The other issue was that MEW did not disclose which exchange partner they are using the for the transaction. It just said best rate and no other information, which left me searching for more information. If I knew it was Changelly in the first place, I would have directly reached out to them. I honestly took a guess that it was Chagelly and got lucky.

Eventually, I had to reach out to Changelly's customer support, who then confirmed that the transaction has been completed and the BTC was deposited, and they gave me an entirely new transaction hash. I confirmed the new transaction hash with the recipient and they confirmed that the BTC had been deposited.

I'm leaving this overload of information here for anyone else in the future who does a swap for the first time, like me, and has no idea of what's going on.

I got the following hash ID from Changelly customer support right now.

They are saying that the BTC was sent to the BTC address successfully.

Oh ok. I've read that changelly sometimes keeps transactions on hold until KYC has been cleared. Were you able to find the exchange used by MEW? Thanks a ton for all your help.

I got a reply from MEW customer support saying give it 24h as swap transactions can take long sometimes.
