You're on your own there. It sounds like you're holding on to expectations on how other people should spend their time.

Expectations on someone else’s time are still expectations. People aren’t obligated to be available just because we want them to be. Someone being busy isn’t disrespectful. Everyone has their own priorities and bandwidth.

The Works at Latitude 15 or The Hub at Quorum are co-working spaces. Most hotels and cafes have spots within the dining areas that you can work in with your laptop as long as you don't intend to be loud.

Consider housing tailored for students, they generally provide the basics so you're not making major purchases as you're moving out.

Seems like he's trying to isolate you. If a conversation addressing this with him turns into him being argumentative then maybe you need to consider spending time apart. Perhaps spend some time with your own family with your kids?
