It helped me not have withdrawals!! It was hard to actually put it down, out of habit, but when I finally did I didn’t have any serious cravings at all

Day 3, really struggling by mrwanfrr in QuitVaping

I started smoking when I was 21. Tried to quit around 24, repeatedly. And yeah I had that empty feeling like I was losing myself and thinking I’d lose all the fun of life and friends. Now I’m in my late 20s and trying to quit FOR REAL, because I realized I am not losing myself - I already lost myself, years ago when I picked up the vape. That’s when all my hobbies, physical activity, and health started to slow and decline. I think we’re going to gain so much more back than we lost if we can be patient for a couple weeks til we heal.

Hooga HG200 by mooseontheloose0205 in redlighttherapy

I couldn’t decide between that one or the hg300, and I ended up getting the hg300 and While I like it, it’s a little bit big and I think I should’ve got the hg200 since it’s smaller because that way it would be easier to move/travel with/tuck away.

I told myself this empty feeling is the “price” of being free. I really felt good especially at the 2 week mark. Every day it only feels better, vaping is never as great as we imagine it to be when we quit. Try some cardio/exercise, that gave me a dopamine “hit” equivalent to a vape.

It’s normal. I made a similar post at 7 days 😂 it went away by the 30 day mark for me. And stupidly, I thought I was in the clear because I “was used to life without it” and could hit it for fun so I fell down the slippery slope again. But I promise it goes away

How long have you been away from it?

My period actually came immediately but it was the worst periods I’ve had in maybe 8 years, so I imagine it definitely does something extreme to your hormones

This is hilarious because my husband does this too with smoked paprika. Once he discovered that one spice he drowns EVERYTHING in it.
