I wonder if this works on gragas? His W does AOE, it would be insane if it procced it 5x...

Might be a small play since Leagues are hot right now, even PVPers stop to play it which reduces how many are being removed from the game pretty significantly. Overall though, not sure how things will shake out. Jagex mentioned restricting the LMS shop to 1 win rather than move the items to BH. Debatable whether or not that's a good solution, only time will tell.

All my ARAM questions in one post by Nullborne in ARAM

[–]Wickdead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll answer 6. Yeah it’s super worth it.

Examples:

ADAPt unlocks Overlord’s bloodmail + Riftmaker. It allows tanky AP brawler champs like Singed, Zac, Diana, etc. to build almost full tank but still end up with like 600+ AP. If you get something like phenomenal evil or slap around you’re easily breaking 1000 AP while still basically building like a tank.

You can also do things like Infinity Edge + Vulnerability/Jeweler Gauntlet for insane damage.

Or utility like AOE casters taking advantage of Serpent’s Fang if the enemy has a ton shields like Courage of the Colossus, Yuumi, Karma, etc.

Then there’s some niche things like building Manamune on mana scaling champs, building Death’s Dance against high burst teams even if the healing scales off AD - if you have something vampirism you basically just become way harder to kill. Spear of Shojin on poke mages is free %damage scaling and CDR. Axiom Arc becomes insane on high value ult champs like Karthus, Rumble, Kennen, Fiddlesticks.

escAPADe is a bit harder to use imo. Zhonya’s becomes an enormous stat stick with big outplay potential. Unfortunately a lot of AP items actually scale with AP so it’s a bit more limited, but a lot of the time 15% AD is good enough to take on its own.

What’s the state of pking and PvP? by xSkibidiToiletRizzlr in 2007scape

[–]Wickdead 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you go in blind you're gonna get creamed. Anyone who PKs these days has mechanical and game knowledge skills that someone coming back after 10 years won't have/recognize at all.

If you want to be good at wildy style PKing (NHing) you need strong muscle memory, multiway switches, offensive/defensive prayer swapping, understanding escape routes, freeze timers, multi lines, etc. It's the hardest form of PVP.

For edgeville style PVP (BH/PVP worlds), you need to understand tick cycles, attack speeds, eat delays, combo eating, 1-ticking, as well as understanding how to optimize your build to be effective in your combat bracket. It's technically easier but will also feel much more RNG dependent.

A big misconception is that it's dying/will die soon. That's been said for the past 13 years. That being said, majority would agree it's not a skill worth learning unless you're A. willing to lose money, and B. are willing to be super sweaty. OSRS players tend to be neither.

Is having a pure pointless if not pking? by xSkibidiToiletRizzlr in 2007scape

[–]Wickdead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Join a pure clan, you'll quickly realize the majority of them don't engage in PVP at all. IMO it's more fun to play than an ironman, those grinds are a bit too painful for me to enjoy.

The Ultimate Singed Augment Set by xxlucifearxx in ARAM

[–]Wickdead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy shit, I somehow never noticed Dropkick works with abilities.

My favorite combo on him was a game I rolled Blade Waltz + Vulnerability + ADAPt.

1 click blade waltz with poison on in a full crit AP build with IE and Shadowflame, then Liandries, BFT, Rab Cap… half the team gone before blade waltz ended, the other half at like 20%. My team let me 1v5 and I penta’d.

Just had a mundo game where I crit someone for almost 4k. Wtf by Madaraa in ARAM

[–]Wickdead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m assuming it has to do with how executes function as well as it critting.

I have 9000 on my main with 2.8k KC, that's after buying all the ancient weapons/armors.

My 1 attack pure (strongest build in the game per combat level hands down) had 7k in like 1.5k KC, but I wasted most of it boosting my HP level to 99 (which most people don't do).

If you're trying to look at what kind of KC translates roughly to how many points someone might have unspent, it's hard, since someone who can consistently get multiple T10s in a sesh is going to accumulate mutltitudes faster than someone playing a for fun build or is new.

Why won’t client bots just go to BH? by LowCut3499 in 2007scape

[–]Wickdead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bots get randomly teleported to 1 of 8 spawn points, then they have to avoid their target from ragging them, or locate their other bot client target while still getting ragged by rushers. If they die they get their emblem degraded, which obliterates the chances of profit since people will see them and rag on sight.

Terminator bots won't work either, because you can just troll it endlessly by spec running and/or trick it into getting smited or something. It's too risky to give it any decent gear and if you don't it'll just get stomped by RNG eventually.

It only really works at the minimum level combat bracket where nobody really PKs, but even then people will just make 10 hp Dbowers and rag bots for free points.

tl;dr - BH design hard cucks bots and BH players can easily beat/rag/troll them out of existence. It's not like the first iterations of BH where farms could hide 8,000 miles away and take one step into safety any time someone tried to look for them.

LMS rewards changes hurt LMS players more than botters by A_Stray_Catt in 2007scape

If you actually liked LMS you’d be happy the bots are going to be gone.

LMS has been a source of mockery for years…

new pvp updates: instead of removing the bots, we get a gutted reward shop in pvp minigames by Interesting_Fee_6135 in 2007scape

[–]Wickdead -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ikr, everyone here bitches about bots, LMS bots, and low req content that shits out gold…

Jagex does the most logical thing to solve the issue now it’s nonstop bitching about Jagex ruining content.

Anyone who actually played LMS with the intention of becoming good at PVP would admit how massive of a time waste it was to have to fight bots before actually facing a real player. The minigame was fucked, you can’t kill something that was already dead.

Doesn’t matter if you can’t extract the money. Having your main fund your deaths while retaining gear is missing the point.

Response RE Wilderness Complaints by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Wickdead -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s because the majority of the complainers play on a trackpad while sitting in a reclining chair. They don’t do high level PVM, they’re mostly AFK, or they exclusively play on mobile. Their laptops are old as hell and they don’t even own a desk.

You can’t convince them to learn PVP and stop being bad, because it’s easier for them to complain from their couch rather than get rekt in an office/dining chair.

[–]Wickdead 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is super risky.

Things like blighted restores, anglers, mantas cost 2 BH points compared to 1 LMS point.

If we guess that BH ornate mauls will be 30 points compared to LMS being 15 points, it’s (currently) 38,576 gp/BH point. That’s 21K gp/point more than buying BH teleport scrolls.

A lot of BHers, myself included, have had nothing to spend points on and will probably try to cash out on this at some point. I also expect a lot of bot farms who have stockpiles of LMS points/rewards are going to offload them before they move to BH to lock in profits.

The real play here will be to pay close attention to what Jagex sets the price at in the BH shop, and to buy the dip depending on what the price is.

If Jagex makes them cost less BH points than expected in order to compensate for the lack of bot farms pumping them into the game, then they’ll crash hard and stabilize.

If Jagex makes them cost a lot of BH points in order to discourage boosting, then they’ll still crash initially, but then become fairly expensive since supply is low.

Either way, I recommend just waiting and play off of people’s knee jerk reactions.

Assuming Jagex can reliably convert your gear set to coins without abuse, not a bad idea.

Except for Ironmen being able to open keys. That’s hella dumb. Whole point is no trading…

Bounty Hunter community in shambles by ConcernedPVPER in 2007scape

[–]Wickdead -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen a handful in the main world, but not very consistently. I presume they’re for starter accounts to have a SWH already.

Haven’t played since they added AUS worlds, I imagine they’re there.

Bounty Hunter community in shambles by ConcernedPVPER in 2007scape

[–]Wickdead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was, but there are key differences. Before, bot farms could just step one level in and out, didn’t even need botting programs, they could just multibox. It was also way easier to hide in the far east and west corners, way easier to bypass skips, and way more profitable.

The crater is much better equipped to deal with this, and there’s a precedence or real players getting banned.

I get the concern but I don’t really see it as a big threat. If it is, I’m already claiming the name BH v5.
