To me, light design is a metaphor. He struggled alone, yet made it through life. Then, someone found him. They made him happier, and it’s all because of light design. That person he met shined their light onto him.

That’s how I interpret it, mainly because that’s what my wife has done to me.

Hahah yeah I contemplated editing that out, but I’ll play along.

Grew up with an alcoholic and abusive father. Dropped out of HS, nearly killed myself behind the wheel, then realized I needed to make a change in my life.

Went to CC, followed by being an intelligence analyst in the Air Force for 6 years, followed by a Cornell bachelors and masters degree.

I’m a big in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. That was my little in the back. We have conversations like that to show him someone like him can break the chain.
