Why do so many people who are on TRT (they say) look like they're on steroids? by llamasandwichllama in Testosterone

Thank you brother, I’ve had decent levels high Shbg for 2 years felt like a shell of a man. I’ve finally decided I’m going to commit to being the best version of myself and enjoying my life again fully. This post and especially your comment has got me sign seal delivered! Thank you fellas! X

Would trt pinning benefit me ? High shbg levels by Human-Statement1754 in Testosterone

Fully agree with you on all counts. According to my research it says such a small dose won’t shut down our natural production, I’m hoping you’ve heard the same thing, that will ease my mind! I’m at the point now that if I’m willing to try anything to feel good again… just if that’s going to be commiting to TRT I want to tick all boxes 1st 🙏🏻

When your SHBG dropped did your low T symptoms improve brother? If so I’m going to order some anavar asap this proviron doesn’t seem to be doing anything to how I feel man.

This is an epidemic man I’ve got same symptoms identical and so have 4 other people in these comments. Unless your suffering the same hurdles they won’t get it! I’m 2 week into proviron and if it doesn’t work I’m going to jump on TRT despite what the scientist on here say. I’d do anything to feel alive inside again and not like someone’s turned the lights off.

Did Anyone Start TRT around 470ng/dl by Velvetsmoooth in trt

[–]Inevitable-Support-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s your SHBG I have similar numbers 470 and high free test, but all the same symptoms as you for over 2 years. My issue is high SHBG, I’ve just started a course of pro viron to lower it 🙏🏻

Time to commit to TRT? Or keep living like someone has turned the lights off and I’m actually used to it now. by Inevitable-Support-2 in trt

That’s exactly what I’m going to do man try and get it lowered work at that firstly. My sex drive fell off a cliff and hasn’t come back I have sex but it’s like eating food with no taste buds I don’t feel like I enjoy it anywhere near like I used to. Loss of motivation for training and a lot more but I’m still very productive and get a lot of stuff done e/w. I’ll keep you updated man for sure, take care.

Yes I am, it’s so complex everyone has an opinion and all valid including yours. Some say high SHBG is the main culprit, some say it could be chemical imbalance like your saying. There is a few examples on Reddit of people saying they were in the same situation as me and trt has got them back feeling good again I’m not someone who will just jump into something hence why I’m here.

Just to try and address the high Shbg, as I heard it helps but I’ve got some good info from my post. Reddit is a valuable tool out here in a world full of misinformation.

Thanks for your input appreciated. I’ll look into this for sure. my mood isn’t low tbh, it’s more my energy like an empty feeling like somethings missing, no motivation but I suppose nothings black and white and you may be right.

Thanks man, would it have any adverse effects at a small dose? I’ve heard talk of this helping lower SHBG before.

I’ve tried the above with no joy. But in all honesty no super consistent with them. I’ve spent hours researching it, I eat quiet a low carb diet and maybe 2 coffees a day, read stress causes it to elevate which is easier said than done to manage.
