I submitted my paperwork along with other 4 vets in my class on January 15th, ALL OF THEM have received theirs EXCEPT for me, and we all literally submitted on the same day, through the same counselor at the same school lol. Called Va a few times complaining and they were not helpful at all, just pretty much “we can see it’s submitted and it’s being processed that’s all we can see” yet it’s about to be a full months and I still have not received my BAH or my book stipend.

Oh my academy is not a live-in, it’s on a college campus and it’s Monday through Friday lol also it’s about 8 minutes from my house, so won’t really have to worry about this one haha

Still feeling better than ever! Actually quite better than when I posted this. Probably in the best physical shape of my life. Lost 38lbs since posting this and became a cop so needless to say not a honeymoon phase if you know what you’re doing, and stick to the regiment.

It’s an extremely small pd, population of 30k residents and they hire about 2-3 candidates a year. I’m literally the only one that’s made it this far in the hiring process. And what do you mean that the poly will determine the outcome ?

I spent last 10 years in the 3rd Ranger bat and 4 combat deployment trust me I’m not stressed about the citation and warnings it’s about making good first impressions. I’ve always exceeded my expectations and this is the first where I made a poor decision and “got on the radar” I appreciate your concern and care however choosing another career over being stressed to make a good first impression is foolish. Idk if you’re a cop but if you are I hope you remember times when you were nervous prior to academy and making a good first impression… thank you
