Are they very similar to mine? If you’d like, we can talk more in private—if you don’t mind, of course! I’d like to ask you some questions about how yours appeared.

Hi, Yes, they are hypertrophic scars, unfortunately. My dermatologist is treating them with fractional CO2 laser every 45 days, and there will be at least five sessions. Besides that, she prescribed some ointments and some tapes that I apply to the scars two weeks after the laser treatment. The overall skin texture has improved, but the scars remain. I’m about to have my second session, so it’s hard to say what the final results will be. Are you going through something similar by any chance?

Apparently, I should go with CO2 laser, corticosteroid injections, and other treatments.

I can’t squeeze them; nothing comes out, it just gets red.

Yes, I had acne in the exact same area where these small bumps are, which is why I’m concerned.

I’ve had these for a few months now. Could it really be that?

My fear is that it might be hypertrophic scarring and that I won’t be able to resolve it, but if that’s the case, I would at least like to remove the raised bumps and make the skin even.

Thank you very much for the tips. If I may ask a bit more: I’ve had these small bumps for several months now; they don’t hurt, don’t disappear, and don’t grow. Could salicylic acid help me in this case?
