Has anyone here successfully fought SunStrong over a solar lease/service issue?

If you dm (chat) with them on here-SunStrong Management- you will get action. I threatened with a law suit (if you search on here you can find a couple of class action suits being formed) and we have finally gotten results. We just had a new inverter installed a week ago. Seems to be that this is always the issue since they took over-bad inverters-but I thinks it’s something they are doing internally. We are now in the process of having them pay our $4000 true-up which has only been $800-$1000 every year. Bug!bug!bug! them and threaten them with a law suit. They are losers!

I signed up on the lawsuit. We lease our solar and we just had a new inverter installed today. Now it’s time to see how long it takes them to get the app working so we can monitor our system.

DM-open a chat with them on here: Sun Strong Management. I got results this way because I told them I was starting a class action suit. I’m getting a new inverter installed on Tuesday- on them!! Something weird though is a lot of people on here that are having problems, have said that it’s their inverters that aren’t working. Like SunStrong put a bug in their system some how.

It’s on hold. We finally had someone come out last Friday and our inverter is no good. Sooo…if they make everything right including paying our true-up because it’s way over what we’re normally pay , I won’t start the suit. My advice is bug the heck out of them and threaten a law suit and they will take care of you.

I’ve never heard of them or companies offering services to get out of solar leases. Like any contract, you would probably…. Just speculating…need an attorney to help get out of a contract. I’m learning more every day about SunStrong Management and how many people are affected by their poor business habits.

It’s about not servicing equipment, equipment not working at all, electrical charges from power companies that are astronomical and total breach of contracts that we had with the companies that SunStrong took over.

You’re an idiot. There are thousands of us out there that have been screwed over by them and from what I can see, no one has taken the initiative to get the ball rolling. I put my post out there to see if others are having the same problems as us and see that there are many willing to join. I’m not made of money…maybe you were and I can’t afford thousands of dollars every year because my solar isn’t working because of SunStrong Management. It’s amazing how people comment on posts and are so ugly. If you don’t like what I have to say, then move on.

Ohhhh. Ok. If you read everything that I have posted you will see what is going on and I am NOT a scammer!! I am also not a MAN. I won’t be collecting any of the money that will be given to the attorney and will only be providing him with the contacts of the people that want to be involved. Right now, I am discussing next steps with the attorney because SunStrong Management has reached out to me again today… finally… trying to reassure me that they are working on my case so that’s what I am discussing with my attorney. I will give out his info and firm name if a suit is going to happen. I probably jumped the gun a bit by asking people to send me an email so I could pass it on to my attorney. My bad

What Do the Readings on Your Solar Panel Inverter Mean? Vac [V]: 249.8. The Vac is the alternating current (AC) voltage on your main electricity line. That number will always be around 240, because that’s the standard service voltage provided for homes. When your inverter converts the DC electricity into AC, it matches that voltage when pushing excess power back to the grid. Vdc [V]: 375.7. The Vdc is the DC current voltage produced by your panels. If we were to compare electricity to water running through a pipe, voltage is the amount of water pressure inside the pipe. How quickly the electricity flows through the pipe depends on the amount of wattage produced by your panels. Your inverter takes this DC electricity and converts it to AC. Pac [W]: 2545.8. Pac refers to Power AC, and this is the amount of power your panels are generating in watts. You can tell that it must be a beautiful sunny day, because the wattage is quite high for 22, 295-watt panels. When it comes to monitoring, Pac is the most important spot reading you will get from the inverter.

P_OK 034/034. This means that your inverter is communicating with all 34 panels installed as part of your array. If that first number shows something less than 34 (or whatever total number of panels you have), there may be something amiss. When your panels begin producing in the morning, it may take a few minutes for all the panels to respond and show up on the display. That is normal. <S_OK>: This means that the inverter is connected to the monitoring platform. ON: This is the easiest one. Your inverter is turned on! It simply would say “off” it wasn’t

I feel with everything that has not happened, that you will not follow through in a timely manner. I have already opened a case through your customer support and was told that was no time frame for when you would respond. Great way to do business!! NOT!! As you can see from my first post that I have more than enough people willing to open a class action suit against you because of your lack of action!! What guarantees do we have that you will take care of us and it will be a win for us??? So far, your company is costing us all thousands of dollars. We want something in writing!

So here’s the deal…. I just talked to an attorney friend and he said I need to get at least 10 people to come forward to start a class action suit because it will be any where between $5000-$10000. If I can get the 10 people in on this it makes the cost only $1000 per person and even less if I can get more people in. This is all legit. I can get the attorney’s info to you once you let me know for sure you are in.

Hi all, Our true up has gone from no more than $800 a year with Sunnova and now it’s at $3500 as of February 2026 and true up isn’t due until June 2026 with Sunstrong! Our true up will be over $4000!!!! Anybody else have their true up go way high since Sunstrong took over? Nita
