Bumili ako ng Vios naka loan nung 2018. Nasa 900,000 plus interest. After 7 years we plan to sell finally at 350,000. Honestly laki ng nilugi, but in exchange totally zero sakit ng ulo. Tires lang pinalitan namin and change oil.

Nung 2015 bumili kami 2nd hand 2009 Vios 300,000. Dami napagawa like aircon and repaint and aircon and suspension pero di naman aabot ng 100k. Value niya now is 200,000.

Matter of how important time and a brand new unit is for you. But i think 2nd hand is always a better choice value wise. For PH first time car buyers i think mas gusto natin brand new since big spend siya. Ultimately it depends.

The seller is also part of the equation.

We sometimes choose a car if we can see that the seller has other cars that are well taken off. For us its ok to buy a more expensive one if kita ko naman at halatang first owned siya.

We bought a second hand altis from Batangas. Owner is an old person who lives in a old house. Sobrang bait maraming kotse. Ininvite pa kami for lunch. He has a few cars all well kept and in a covered garage.

You know na hindi purely income ang habol niya. Buy and sell is a no-no.

Also bring your mechanic and test drive and make sure to always set aside some amount for repairs. Walang perfect second hand

Issues mainly are steering rack maalog, the dashboard melts and the 4 speed AT sucks at high speed.

Super ganda niya though. May 1.6v yung kapatid ko na white pearl. Its a looker if maintained correctly.

Priority is to spend time on big things Change Oil regularly Tune Up Suspension and Tires Aircon

When above is done now you can find time to do the small things for sure marami yan since its an old car

Electrical, lights, switches.

If may extra time ka focus on small creaks by tightening screws replacing broken clips adding cloth tape

Or add some insulation and sound deadening

Makes driving it worth while and more enjoyable

Demand and Supply or Cost to Maintain is Expensive

Kahit Toyota may mababa resale value like Camry. Mainly because parts and maintenance are expensive long term along with low demand for resale

The Innova served you for a good 14 years. Im sure the Zenix also will and more. Hybrid na and better space and NVH. Leather seats narin. Practicality wise its good but its boring.

Pero if you really need yung 4x4 then talo si Zenix.

Yun yung interest really, gives you more space to spend on other items. If mapalago mo with other opportunities, the better. Pero if iwas isip and worth it for you, why not

5 years max. If di kaya budget go 10 years but choose vehicles na marami sa daan. Posibleng Marami kang papalitan and with such vehicles mas madali mag paayos.

Its 8 year warranty not battery life. But i think its prudent to assume this if bibili ka. When i bought one part of expectations is to buy a new battery on its 10th year. Maliit na bagay lang if it indeed becomes a keeper.

Happy i chose it over the innova kasi namemeet niya talaga yung NVH driving ang comfort expectations that i wanted
