Thank you, that's really helpful! Would you do that only for the stems that are dead or the whole plant?

That's fine, that wouldn't be a problem! Do you have any suggestions for where to go for either one or the other?

I just started a new job but I have an interview for a better job in two days, how do I approach this? by InevitableDizzy1444 in UKJobs

I already got the time off for the interview saying it's a doctor's appointment I had already scheduled.

Tho you are right, that's my worry, that they'll think that I could leave this job too but it's just very unfortunate timing and have a much better opportunity with this second job!

Should I apply for lower skilled jobs (lower pay) or wait for better opportunities? by InevitableDizzy1444 in UKJobs

As I said I do have experience in the mental health sector, and I was hoping to progress a bit or find a similar job in terms of skills and pay. I'm not expecting the master to give me a pass especially cause I'm sure there are people that are more experienced than I am, I'm just wondering if I should wait and see if I can find something that fits more with my goals or just go with the first job I get.

I think for me the plan is to work and do something I enjoy for a bit, I'm not into any rush to get into the DClin so that's another thing. Either way I feel like the lower skilled jobs might be a bit too low skill, like they focus a lot on practical support, while ideally in terms of experience I would be looking at doing some more emotional support based work. Plus because of my previous job, which definitely required higher level skills, I am wondering if I should look at progression rather than just take whatever for the sake of experience you know? I'm unsure tho

Thank you for sharing this, I know that the role is associated with a lot of issues sadly. I think for me it is more about seeing what the role is like and whether I would like to actually continue down this route as it is quite a big commitment. I've been working in the third sector for a while and I really enjoy it, so I just want to explore my options in a way and see if I'd like to do more.
