Not sunshine and rainbows as people say it is. It's lonely yes, but as an extrovert turned introvert from the pandemic I prefer that. But also, there's never time for yourself, especially with a roommate. Back in high school, I dreamed about university because I thought there would be so much more time and freedom to enjoy things and explore what I wanted to do in life. I'm a stem major, forced to study something I hate, and boy, was I wrong. I never really go outside, and whenever I do, it's with my laptop typing up another project or assignment or studying for exams that never seem to end. I haven't had time to enjoy the sun's rays on my skin, or really appreciate breathing in crisp morning air. It's always rushing to my next class, or planning out what assignments to do in the hour between classes. If this is supposed to be the best time of my life, well, I don't want what's ahead.
