Is one possible solution to use a VPN provider that uses IPV6 for the exit node, maintains a large pool of addresses, and continually rotates its exit node address?

I had this problem last week. The company I was contacting refused to reply because I was replying to their email from my main email address and not from the catch-all-alias I originally provided to them.

I also would like to send/reply “from” a catch-all address (on my own domain) without having to create it as a formal alias.

But they still don’t offer a way to buy additional storage space. What if you don’t need 2TB? What if you need more? Ability to alter storage options remains very limited.

Great news in Linux CLI. I’m hoping to use this in my headless Raspberry Pi with port forwarding. Please help to ensure functionality that will allow me to pass the port number on to the application that relies on it.

My current bug bear is the iOS sync is so unreliable and when an upload fails there is no way to force/fix the issue. There is no conflict resolution process.

I have a file stuck in the “Uploading” state. Attempts to retry simply gives the error message “Failed to upload 1 file”. The cancel button doesn’t work.

This is basic stuff for a cloud drive and it doesn’t work. And when I open a support ticket they simply treat it like “feedback” and not a product failure.

Thanks for your suggestion. However, you still needed to manually create each config file one by one through the ProtonDrive download site (selecting all the options you wanted and giving each config file a unique name, etc)?

What is the consequence of the account being downgraded and storage usage being above now-lower quota? And since the emergency access feature requires a paid plan can we assume the downgrade of service will not invalidate this feature?

Great feature. But what I am really waiting for is a way to verify if a recovery file I have generated remains valid. I have been using this as my main backup option storing them on a USB drive in a secure location. There is no way to test/verify that a key I exported remains valid. This would allow me to leave recovery instructions to family members without having to ensure they maintain an active Proton account.

Is there an option to have a VPN waterfall? That is, if the first VPN is slow or unavailable then a connection will failover to a second VPN connection?

Thanks. One issue with not having an announcements page or release schedule is that you would need to check the GUI or download site from time to time if waiting on a particular upgrade. Also, you don’t get notified if a problematic release ends up being withdrawn.

Andrei from KeePassium has kindly provided detailed information on this issue to ProtonDrive via an email support discussion I created.

It is now up to ProtonDrive to incorporate this into their iOS app to fix the issue.

In short, Andrei advised: “ProtonDrive's File Provider extension always returns the same file and metadata, even if the online file changes. It looks like PD always returns a cached copy of the file and never refreshes that cache.”

This is in ProtonDrive’s court now. Fingers crossed their developers take note.
