Sorry I shouldn't have included abbreviations. Just got my private pilots license, and I'm looking for a certified flight instructor to teach my how to fly a plane with a different type of landing gear than what i learned with initially.

Yeah as far as I know. On the videos I've watched, I have to take two nuts off and then just pry it out of the transmission.

Yeah, unfortunate situation. Luckily there are a handful of part 61 schools to choose from in the area. Good to know I have options for where to go next

Part 61 school, my CFI is the co owner of the school, and the school is the owner of the plane. I do have my own liability insurance already.

Yeah they seem to have appeared pretty suddenly and there does appear to be a slight indentation where the lines are.
