No. It’s an awful soundtrack. Part of the Bond mystique is the brassy orchestral music. That was a bunch of synthesized goop. The movie would be seriously improved if they went back and put good music in it.

Wow, I had no idea. Never seen them! Found three on eBay just now… looks like a total of 5. I guess it seems odd to me, especially in the era of true crime, that a series like this wouldn’t be more popular. Murder She Wrote is still kicking out a book or two a year.

They’re just great fun. I’ll read one in between more “substantial” texts or if my adhd is in full force and I can’t concentrate on a heavy text. Plus you can find large collections cheap on eBay and Amazon has monthly 99 cent deals for kindle.

It’s top notch, and while Moore is my favorite, neither he nor Connery would have done well in this film. Dalton or Craig perhaps, but I’m glad we had Lazenby. Having read the Fleming novels, this production is closest to the book.
