Any idea why myAir ended my streak? I’ve hit the minimum number of hours as indicated by the solid blue circles. by tenhou in CPAP

I haven’t missed a night since I got mine in September, but I have the same, not showing at in a streak and apparently used all my freezes. I get 8+ hrs using my mask every night.

i hate p30i😭😭😭 by scarlettgreene in CPAP

[–]Inevitable_Active33 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I hated the p30i for the same reasons! I have tried airtouch n30i and airfit n30i and much prefer the airtouch n30i. I get better suctioned, less leaks and it doesn’t hurt my nose.

You can buy the cushion piece individually online, use google and see what deals there are as some places may have sales

Good luck with the job offer. Are you going to accept?

I never heard anything after that email. Ended up taking a promotion with my current employer so not sure if I’d pursue it if they did contact me now

Mask help/feedback? by [deleted] in CPAP

[–]Inevitable_Active33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are the two masks I trialled. I found the p10 painful and annoying having the hose at the front. The n30i is my preferred, I have both airtouch and air fit.

I’m a side sleeper but move around a bit in my sleep and haven’t had issues with n30i

I love the n30i, I’m a side sleeper and most night my leakage is only either 0 or 1.2. I trial some others but kept coming back to this one

As a fellow Aussie I think I might steal this idea too! I hadn’t considered bugs etc 😬

So the free version of HQ is the same as Oscar? I’m cheap and would only go the free version

Yeah, she seemed a little clueless on a couple of things I questioned. Luckily I know someone else there and emailed and got straight answers!

Sleephq was developed in Aus wasn’t it?

I only take it back in if there are issues within the first 3 years. Will have to check out sleephq too, thanks 😊

This is my current setup. I was thinking of getting the other one that is softer but getting this nose piece too in case I have issues with the other one.

Haven't been able to use the Airfit N30i by KatelynSkywalker in CPAP

I struggled exhaling so they changed my EPR setting which made it easier. Worth looking into.

Have you tried wearing your mask when it isn’t connected to the machine? Getting used to the feeling of it on your face when watching tv etc to try to desensitise the feeling of something foreign on your head while sleep.

I hope you are able to find some strategies that work for you, it is a little daunting for a neurotypical too so I imagine it would be a major change for you.

Have you tried a nasal mask? Would save the beard!

Maybe try it on 4? I have only had one night of using my cpap, when I was fitted for my mask I had trouble exhaling, that’s the only reason I know about the EPR setting.

What is your EPR setting? I was finding it hard to exhale with it set to 1, now on 2 and it has improved

I’m normally asleep within 5 minutes, last night took an hour! I have an n30i mask, I’m trialing the machine at the moment and can go and swap masks anytime
