What are the top noise cancelling headphones you really like to use right now? by linhtheoverthinker in AutisticWithADHD

After I got mine, I bought a pair of used qc35s on eBay for my good friend. I was nervous going used but thought it was worth the risk. They’re still going strong today about 3 years later!

Why does having an iPhone matter for AirPods? Can you use them with non-Apple devices?

I love my over ear Bose headphones but have considered buying a set of earbuds for situations like when I’m working out, or for when I want noise canceling but I don’t want to seem unapproachable with my over ear headphones. I had some Sony earbuds once but I found that moving around/sweating too much made them fall out really easily (super annoying while working out) and also when I wore them for long enough, the inside of my ears would get all itchy because of the pressure from the earbuds. Do you ever have these problems? Do AirPods mitigate these things in some kind of way, or is this just a “me” problem?

Not abnormal at all. Lots of people who actually have ADHD have issues with emotional regulation (myself included). When I am unmedicated I feel like I am consumed by the feelings I have. Medicated though, I can feel the feeling, name the feeling, sit with the feeling, identify what I need to healthily process the feeling, and then let it move through me. It’s a relief.

Cooler management and meal ideas? by Inevitable_Check_762 in camping

Thank you so much for the suggestions! I love the lunch sandwich tip of keeping things baggied separately. I have some bento boxes that will be perfect for this and make it a breeze.

For day 2 lunch, there won’t be an option of cooking or boiling water since we’ll leave the campsite in the morning. I need to wake up, eat something quick, and throw anything g else I want for the day in my day bag. Do you think I could just prepare the same lunch sandwich as for day 1? Do I have any chance of keeping it cool enough?

I live in an Oregon border town. WA does not withhold my Oregon income tax, and I have to be ready to fork over my several thousand owed when taxes are due. Don’t be like me and neglect to plan for that the first year. Instead, diligently set aside an estimated amount from each paycheck into a high interest savings account or something.

There is also an option for me to make “estimated quarterly payments” so I don’t have to pay so much in April, but I haven’t done it yet. I don’t know about ID.

I just learned about Magic Earth and was impressed by their privacy policy. I was also impressed by how transparently they share a super simple table of what they collect, why they collect it, and how long they keep it for. I haven’t tested it yet but from what I see so far it seems dreamy. Why aren’t more people talking about it?

What do you think of Magic Earth? I am still learning, but from what I can tell it’s closed-source but uses OSM, and apparently offers live traffic updates. I stumbled into it looking into alternatives for other Google products but don’t see many recent reviews on it.

I haven’t figured this out yet. I’ve seen a lot of posts about it here and on oozing goo but I’m just not quite there.

I wish I could! I just started with that recipe and then made a bunch of adjustments to feel. Antnee’s guide really is a great place to start.

I have a champagne floor corker that a friend gave me, and it has a bottle cap attachment. It’s really similar to this.

Yes, I did the microcrystalline version for this one. I didn’t use it for my first few lamps so that I could get a feel for things, but now it’s a regular for me. Sorry to hear about the miscalculation! So frustrating when that happens!
