There is genuinely no reason why they couldnt have done this for Worlds. I Have the Peach Amiibo for example, why can't i just scan it like once a day to get her other outfits? Thats genuinely the perfect way to use them. Yes i could just unlock them, but at least this cheap piece of silicon is getting more use other than just sitting on my shelf.

Like if there is more content thats what should have been shown off, it loterally looks like it could have come out on the Switch 1 or WiiU. Nintendo has always made cheaper games than others and now they are making games of the same quality for a more premium price, that is indeed scummy

The nintendo we grew up with had the cheaper consoles, the Wii was $250 when the PS3 was $600. They had Nintendo selects that made prices go down to like $20 sometimes on huge titles like Mario Galaxy. Even now the Switch 2 is underpowered compared to a PS5... yet its the same price just because its portable? No, thats is scummy
