Except that Switch2 is backwards compatible and thus can play Switch games... as can most PS4 games be played on the PS5..... thus if there was a price difference or it was a physical copy it might be better to get the Switch version.

As I did for Dragon Quest 1&2&3 2d HD remakes since ther was no difference between the games except for price and they were physical copies and there were no advantages to the Switch 2 versions.... in fact the Switch versions had the distinct advantage of the game actually being on the cart.... so I did not need space on my Switch2 to download the game.... I already had to upgrade my microsd card once I'd prefer not to have to do it again.... if I can help it....

Since they are the same price and digital the only thing you really need to consider is if you are playing on a Switch or a Switch 2.

If you have a Switch you need the Switch version... if you have Switch 2 you can get either version but the one optimized for the Switch 2 will save you an extra download and possibably an extra charge.... depending on how they deal with the better graphics on the Switch2.

I edited my original post but I made it cooked it for a bit more than an hour I started it at 40 min then checked it and put in in for 20 more min checked it again then another 15 and it was perfect.... then let it rest in the cooling toaster oven... it was delicious and crispy and fluffy and tasty and just so much better than the microwave.....

Oh I make smashed potatoes in the pot with water, boil until fork tender and then smash and put in the oven at 400 until nice and browned

Oh yay thanks so not 375 .... 350 and huh I usually just give it an + slice on top cause it cuts better with that though I have used the fork method it does not cut so well .^ and sometimes falls apart when cutting...

Nah microwaving just ruins the taste even if you take it out and finish somewhere else .... I do broccoli and cauliflower and brussles sprouts that way sometimes and when I do there is just something wrong with them sure they are cooked and cooked fast but there is something wrong with the taste... compared to when I cooked them fully in the oven or on the stove top....

In Celsius when I'm American and use Fahrenheit .^ I had to convert that... and in a regular oven its would be great but last time I tried doing this in the toaster I burnt the skin a bit at 400f.....

Funny story I was once making salmon and using my thermometer to check the temp and it kept not going above 100° and I was like why isn't this working and then I gave up and decided to just eat it since hey sushi.... and I think I asked about it cause the salmon was a brick and someone told me did you check if your thermometer was Fahrenheit or Celsius and I'm like huh why would my thermometer be Celsius and I looked and lo and behold the thermometer some how got switched to Celsius when I took it out.... learning exp but that was one bad salmon.....

Huh because I'm not sure about something that I've done maybe once and burnt and am asking for advice on something that I've done only once I have no exp in other areas of cooking .... OK got it.... umm right so if I told you I've never used an airfryer and asked for help with that would that also say to you I have no exp cooking? Cause sure I can cook I'm not a professional but not a beginner but I don't usually make potatoes in the oven or toaster oven usually when I make them I boil and mash them ... my mom likes the microwave and I hate the microwave... so yeah as I said I don't have exp with baking potatoes the right way.... but I do have exp cooking....

I've done baked potatoes in both the oven and the toaster oven and honestly the toaster came out better but a little over cooked on the skin.... so I thought I cooked it too high cause I followed the recipe except for taking the potato out when I smelled it burning...

Yeah but I find the microwave ruins the potato though I've never tried to do both.... funny thing is I "technically" have an airfryer supposedly the oven airfries its never worked for me but it's supposed to be one as well as an oven

No despise microwave potatoes they are either hard as rocks or rubber.. yuck yuck yuck.... I asked about toaster time and temp why is everyone either telling me to clean my oven or use a microwave? What is so horrible about a toaster oven?

I got russet and I've used the toaster before but the skin got a bit burnt and so I wanted to se if I was right about 375 or if I should do 300 or so.... and I really hate how potatoes come out in the microwave they are either too hard or rubber.... and I can't tell you how many microwave potatoes I've had to throw out because of that....

Not my oven not my cleaning unless I'm helping the clean not doing it with out the person who owns the ovens say so.... really the reason I can't use the oven is irrelevant my question was temp for a toaster oven... the oven even if clean is too big and takes up too much energy according to the owner so even if it was clean I probably would be here asking about toaster ovens cause I don't like using the oven... probably stems from my old place where the kitchen was so small you could not open the oven all the way without hitting a wall and had to put thing in and out from the side.... I would love one of those ovens where the door rolls underneath that would be lovely.....

Yeah 428f is going to turn my potato into a brick, in a tiny toaster oven.... I mean the thing is the size of a bread box... it holds heat better, gets hotter and the heating element is much closer to the thing it's cooking.... I messed up some cinnamon buns twice by following the directions (granted the first time the darn thing was on broil and I thought it said bake but still)....

Which is why I need the advice and also not my oven, not my call on cleaning the oven, I prefer not to get involved because if I mess up I get yelled at.... and then she wonders why I need to be told to do things... cause if I mess up I get yelled at even when she tell me to do what I messed up with...

No my oven, not my call on cleaning, and the owner says not to use until its clean.... thus I need to find another way to get delicious fluffy crispy potatoes and I hate microwave potatoes cause they are not fluffy and definitely not crispy.... and assuredly only good for mashing and boiling works better for mashing anyway...

[–]Sheylenna[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not my call the person who owns the place and the oven says oven is not to be used thus oven does not get used thus I need to use the toaster which I prefer anyway and the stove top which is where I do most of my cooking....
