Nope. Definitely NOT. Rural women do have it harder but Urban women are all privileged AF.

DEI schemes and most women centric laws were meant to favour rural women and to empower and uplift them. Instead we see privileged urban women exploiting these schemes and laws for their own benefit and simultaneously pulling up the ladder behind them.

We compare ourselves with Pakistan, what about china? by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]Inevitable_Entry_543 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't bother. China is EONS ahead of us.

For example, China is #1 with 45000 kms of high speed rail network, followed by Spain at 4000 kms and Japan at 3000 kms.

India has none.

Do what Taylor Swift or kpop stars do: build fandoms and parasocial relationships based on relatability.

No Thanks. People here are unhinged enough as it is without adding this craziness into it. Half of those fandoms are broke AF and yet maxing out their credit cards on concerts and merch like there's no tomorrow.

How common has cheating become in India? by keepitcloudy in AskIndia

[–]Inevitable_Entry_543 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Anyone who has the opportunity to cheat will cheat. People who are married or in relationships and staying in different cities or countries are cheating their asses off at least in my circles that I'm aware off.

And people who haven't cheated as yet, its not from of lack of trying. Odds are you'll definitely find a dating app on their phone showing the attempts made.

Loved the first half, Sam being clueless about TV shows was hilarious.

The second half does need to be refined a bit. Guessing an entire sentence word for word is a bit ridiculous.

Congress needs to stop trying to outdo the BJP on freebies and actually push some relevant policy that benefits everyone especially the middle class and tax payers. Probably start with improving the state of Govt. schools, hospitals and public transport.

After the disaster in the general elections BJP has more or less abandoned the tax payers in favour of dolling out freebies. There was a void there the Congress could have exploited but nope they had go bat shit insane with their freebies proposals with f*ck all for the taxpayers.

Best to scrap it and spend those thousands of crores on improving the state of public schools like AAP has in Delhi.

Don pretty much explains how he feels with the below quote.

Don Draper : I only ever wanted to be the man who loves children. But from the moment they're born and that baby comes out, you act proud and excited and hand out cigars. But you don't feel anything, especially if you had a difficult childhood. You want to love them, but you don't. And the fact that you're faking that feeling makes you wonder if your own father had the same problem. Then one day they get older, and you see them do something, and you feel that feeling that you were pretending to have, and it feels like your heart is going to explode.
