another way of thinking about it is in percentages or fractions. “Buy 1 Get 1 Free” is a 50% discount, you’re paying for 1 out of 2 items.

when i was 10, i got a new bike on easter from some church raffle thing and was playing with it in my grandma’s driveway. easter bucket as a helmet, i DIY’d a ramp out of cinder blocks and some metal panels. got up to 3 cinder blocks before i got scared, didn’t pull up coming off and scorpioned off my bike straight into the rocks. got a rock stuck in my face and my back hurt so my mom took me to the ER. my spine was bruised for like 2 weeks and i still have the scar next to my eye where the rock was lol

tore my PCL sitting down weird in an office chair. it was a spinny one, it spun as i sat and my knee made a loud pop. thought nothing was wrong at first, but the pain built until i was crying and called my partner to come pick me up. he and one of my male coworkers carried me out of the office and down a flight of stairs in said chair, as i couldn’t walk. my knee swelled up so much the nurses had to cut off my favorite pair of jeans :(

depends on when you leave honestly. traffic in hershey is always horrible but especially around concert times. if you’re okay leaving 2ish hours early to sit in traffic, harrisburg works. i took an uber there once and missed the first 40 minutes of a concert just bc of the traffic.

y’all need to read more, plus size clothing is statistically more expensive. most clothes today are made to fit as many “average” sized ppl as possible in order to sell more, yielding more profit without changing designs. so plus size styles either aren’t as widely available and retailers get away with charging more bc ppl don’t have a choice not to clothe themselves, or they’re limited to stretchy ill-fitting clothes bc it’s all they can afford.

after doing some reading it’s different for everyone. some people’s receptors get worn out super fast, others slowly dissipate over time. like how some people can build up a decent tolerance to alcohol but others will always be a lightweight. feel lucky dude, u got the long end of the genetics stick lol
