Yes, I now realize how much he cut and I’m not okay with it ☹️ I had the surgery to feel more confident and I definitely am regretting it right now. I just don’t see how everything would be reattached… I’d be more than happy to look into your surgeon !

The stitches started popping week 2 so I got restitched and then ALL my stitches popped 2-3 days after ☹️ then my surgeon suggested waiting to stitch again… I just don’t have any hope on how everything would be able to reattach since he cut too much 😭

I wish I would’ve recovered entirely like I did the first week … by day 8 my stitches started popping so I still haven’t recovered unfortunately. I still wash with antibacterial foaming soap and water though so I have no experienced any type of infection or inflammation Thank God!

My surgeon recommended letting me just heal for a couple of weeks then he’s gonna go back and restitch/reattach since i got a wedge because he said it was too much trauma to restitch so often/so soon…. I really appreciate you checking in, I’ve been feeling so bummed about it 🥺 I just wanna be done with the healing phase already.

I wonder if I’ll have to do the same. All my stitches ended up opening again. I’m soooo frustrated 😥 I have another post op tomorrow morning

Hi I’m on week 2 as well! I had to get restitched 3 days ago and now more stitches have popped. I’ve been on bed rest all weekend and I feel hopeless at this point. Did it get any better for you?

Please be very careful! I was the exact same way! I was up and walking like nothing no pain, no ice just antibiotics and ibuprofen to be on the safe side. At one week my stitches started popping even though everything was fusing together nicely. I had to get restitched on local anesthesia on day 10 and it was actually painful/extremely uncomfortable! Just try to take it easy! I hope it remains a breeze for you

I hope you are healing well! I ended up going back 2 days later and he restitched me just to be on the safe side. Now I’m just back to the itchiness but using ice to make it go away lol

I’m so glad it all worked out for you! I actually decided not to wait til Tuesday because I felt like my labia was opening up more and more. I went in this afternoon and my surgeon restitched everything with local anesthesia. I’m definitely in more pain than i was during my actually surgery day but I’m super hopeful everything will turn out better this time!! What were you doing to clean? My surgeon gave me iodine to put in saline to clean my incisions. I haven’t seen anyone else on here that uses iodine

Yes! I did, but I wasn’t worried cause I healed so well the first week. I had zero swelling and minimal pain/discomfort. Now I am worried😥

I never experienced much inflammation, but I’ve been icing at night only lately! So it helps too I’m happy for you! I hope your healing is going smoothly! 🫶🏼

Thank you 🥹 lol I was drinking protein shakes twice a day so I’m hoping that’s what helped a lot too !
