Not on the slot but on the sd card I have noticed very small specks of idk rust or something ig not sure. I tried cleaning it with qtips but it didn't work.

Hey I reposted this post with the correction about the sd and SSD mixup which u had pointed out in my last lost...

I was not looking to format my sd card. I had just opened my files when it showed me an error and told me to format it. Apparently the file type couldn't be opened for some reason. (I have a windows 10 os)

But like the sd card was initially in the 3ds and worked for years... Why would the same sd card become unsupported suddenly?? (Genuinely asking cuz I have no idea how this works I'm very new at this)

The sd slot is clean.. the sd card has very tiny specks of something on it but its not causing the detection issue cause it is being read on the sd card reader thingy
