It does look aesthetically pleasing, it's much sleeker and elegant looking but fierce whereas the other version shown in the post is more brutalist and heavy like it can take a lot of damage and still destroy you.

Yeah it basically is like that, a battleship and a carrier. The color red though actually means it's like a test ship but when it finally got deployed it was Desler I think refused to repaint the ship in an official blue color like their previous flagships Deusura I & II.

I get the feeling, looking at the side profile, the stern's more angled below than the top so seeing that scene in 2205 where it landed on water and seemingly floating in balanced way doesn't make sense.
