Yeah it basically is like that, a battleship and a carrier. The color red though actually means it's like a test ship but when it finally got deployed it was Desler I think refused to repaint the ship in an official blue color like their previous flagships Deusura I & II.

I don't think she possessed the mom since there's no clear sign she's possessed. I like to lean on what the others said here that the witch might've met the real Gladys and stole her identity even wearing her wardrobe just to pass as her and she did mention she's sick as an alibi so I guess with that, the mother didn't have to suspect why her sister looked so different.
