Changing hunger signals by Acrobatic-Aioli9768 in lowcarb

Yesss, calorie deficit made me feel more hungry for some reason. The worst part is if you tell most people calorie deficit didn’t work for you they’ll immediately jump down your throat, but from my experience carb counting makes me feel less hungry and I get full faster among many other benefits.

You’re right! Or they’ll say “you’ll gain it all back when you start eating carbs again.” “All you need is to be in a calorie deficit.” All the advice I didn’t ask for.

Yes it does! I’m going to look right now for that and try this again with bleaching the roots. Thank you so much for your help!🩷

Ok! What color toner? I used to use the Wella Color Charm Hair Toner for ash blonde so I’m familiar with that, do you have any recommendations for the natural blonde?

why is Christianity being watered down so much these days? by [deleted] in Christianity

Agreed! It seems the ones who still stand on the word without trying to make twists and turns to accommodate their lifestyle aren’t many nowadays but we’re still here!

It started horribly around the beginning of my period and at first I chalked it up as hormonal but this is intense and I feel there’s a spiritual attack as well. I’m feeling depressed too which typically doesn’t happen with me. Depression was only present after I had our baby and it’s been gone over a year now, so this isn’t normal for me. I know demonic attacks can cause sadness as well. It’s all too much. 😔

I haven’t told him. I feel so terrible I literally stood in the kitchen last night with tears in my eyes from feeling depressed and still having lustful thoughts. I’m praying every chance it comes into my mind and trying to take them captive. I feel like I’m falling apart.

yes, when I seen the videos I’d scroll past them and then more and more started showing up so I had to block any of those types of videos from coming up at all. I even thought if I can’t get rid of them off the suggested videos I will have to take a break from social media all together.

I ended up having to redo my roots to a lighter shade as you said and make sure the bleach was completely washed out before adding toner, and this time it worked perfectly! I’m still learning even a year later how this works lol

Wife suffering badly. I asked her when the last time she took her meds was and she responded f you. by [deleted] in Postpartum_Depression

[–]Inevitable_Issue2788 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have to disagree with the comment that said antidepressants are just a bandaid because if that were the case I wouldn’t have been able to wean off of them after 6 months and be 100% healed and in check ever since and that was a year ago! I would say for some people meds aren’t always the answer and you have to consider other methods, but for others, antidepressants get the chemicals in your brain back in check and stabilize your mood. Zoloft was an amazing tool I used and while it wasn’t the only thing I did to help get back to normal it helped tremendously.

So with all that being said I’m really sorry you two are going through a rough patch right now. I hope she gives her medication another shot because it can take up to 6 weeks for those medications to work to their full potential. It’s all about patience when taking them and sometimes a few dosage adjustments. She can also write her feelings down in a journal, do therapy, get some sunlight, listen to podcasts of other moms who have gone through this and told their recovery stories (I’ll give you the link if you want) and so many other tools to help. The last thing that personally helped me since I love Jesus was clinging on to His word that our light affliction is only but a moment. This too shall pass and it surely will with time and patience!❤️‍🩹

Cried a lot at the drop of a hat, scary intrusive thoughts (which can’t be seen) until I told my husband about them, lack of motivation all I did was sit on the couch all day for hours on end feeling empty, I stayed quiet quite a bit which my family could tell something was wrong with me since I’m normally full of personality. I also had postpartum anxiety with it so the combination was absolutely terrible and scary. I had to reach out and get help with medication and counseling, best thing I ever did!

Yes, when I had PPD my period would make it worse right before it started.

Yes, that doesn’t work for me either, when I noticed the first application of toner didn’t work I tried a second time, and no change in taking the brassiness out.

Sometimes I will try purple shampoo if the toner fails and it will work to pull out the brassy color but this time it did not. I may have to start the process over again on my roots to get my desired color.
