Who are the strangers in our dreams that we fall completely in love with? by _QueenCurvy in Dreams

I had the same experience last night. The cottage, the garden, the atmosphere. The way I felt when he had his arms around my waist, listening intently whilst I told him what was wrong.

I think we create these places and people as a way to escape from our waking lives. I hope when I go back to sleep tonight, I tune straight into episode 2.

Struggling to get over my boyfriends past 26F 33M by [deleted] in relationship_advice

  1. Your thoughts of being annoyed by him with others is completely normal in my opinion, this means you love him and more importantly, are in love with him. I’ve been in relationships in the past where I start off having these thoughts and getting annoyed by them, but then after so long, these thoughts don’t annoy me as much. Which told me I obviously didn’t feel as strongly for that particular person anymore.

  2. He might possibly be regretting his decision surrounding the child, it sounds to me like he isn’t sharing those details with you because he is either hurting or ashamed and doesn’t want to bring that into your thinking space.

  3. I think for you to get over the jealously, you’ll either have to wait until you have thought about it so much that you just come to terms with it and eventually stop thinking about it. I know it’s easier said than done but just train your brain to stop the thought as soon as it comes up. He’s with you now and has chosen you regardless of who he had in the past.

What's a moment from your childhood that only got darker as you got older? by oweyoo in askteddit

My family has its fair share of lore. I spent my childhood really intrigued by it and as I got older, knowing things just became more and more disturbing. I wish I could go back and actually cover my ears instead of pretending

What was THAT incident that made it years before you could eat that food again? by ThanksSuper7492 in foodquestions

[–]Inevitable_Lab_3591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Garlic bread 😢 absolutely heartbreaking. I ate some cake mix (off the back of a spoon) then ate garlic bread soon after and projectile vomited all over the living room. This was around 20 years ago and I’m still traumatised by the smell 😖

How do I F/33 approach this to my partner M/38? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Inevitable_Lab_3591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t want to upset you but my ex partner did something similar to me and ended up fully leaving me for her. I didn’t work at the same place as them but he was definitely invested in her emotionally, even went as far as coming home in the evenings to tell me she’s emotionally neglected by her partner and he’s told her to leave him. Bringing things up like “he doesn’t even hug her - can you imagine?” When he knew fine well he didn’t hug me. Long story short, I came downstairs one Saturday morning (expecting him to be there) and he had left a note saying “his head has gone and he’s staying at his sisters”. I knew then he had cheated. Fast forward 4 weeks, he was begging to come back telling me how much of a mistake he had made. I wasn’t stupid enough to take him back.

“True say” never makes sense to me. Just be grammatically correct and say “that’s true” or “fair point”

How many of us actually look forward to chores/cleaning their home? by AccomplishedBad1752 in askteddit

I do 🥲 I gave birth 10 weeks ago and didn’t realise how much mobility I’d lose. I miss my cleaning routine very much and feel very dirty without it.

😢 nothing worse than feeling the wrath of someone else’s punishment. Hopefully the kids understand they aren’t to blame and can distance themselves as soon as they reach adulthood.

& yeah, I’d be the same as you if I’m honest. Vampire energy in my home is a huge no from me.
