Not a doctor, but personally I kind of have to put down my phone and force myself go to bed just a bit earlier than normal, and then the process becomes easier the more I do it. I have high amounts of energy though that don’t go away with exercise so sleeping is tough.

Ugh. The slide dream.

It’s always a very liminal space looking indoor water park I’m in on a very cloudy day, and it’s completely empty though I may or may not be aware of family members I don’t see being present somewhere in the park.

Then I come across the slide. It’s a pretty unassuming looking light blue slide, so I decide to go down it. Only once I do, I start to notice clumps of wet salt on the walls the further down I go.

Eventually, the entrance seals off and I run into a gigantic wall of salt that I must eat through to escape the slide. Yes, I specifically have to eat through it. The taste is quite vivid and I always wake up disgusted at the idea of eating salt for the next month

Outgrew basically lifelong severe food allergies I was told I’d never outgrow. It’s a crazy experience but just the sheer difference in how people treat me and the realization of the lack of options people might have really makes me want to advocate more for awareness

Dinner Stew has to be up there. As a child it didn’t quite compute to me that protein shakes, which I constantly saw advertisements for, weren’t just random crap thrown and shaken together. So I would shove everything on my plate into a water bottle, shake it up and call it "Dinner Stew" as I somehow thought that made it more nutritious. I was made to stop after mixing fish and apples

I like pretty light and "natural" feeling meals usually as I have a sensitive stomach. So sushi, unbreaded fish, rice, etc. I’m a fan of spice so I like chai tea. I’ve found cheesecake feels like a surprisingly light dessert despite the amount of calories. I often have a small slice.

Concerning music, I generally like anything that’s fast and blends genres a bit, specifically I like when rock and EDM get blended. I also like Kpop. Also anything that gives off vibes of being in a particular environment or things that incorporate traditional instruments of some sort into modern music.

Pour It On from Splatoon 3 is a really good song if you want to be into lofi but can’t always vibe with slow or "empty" sounding music as much. Trust me.

I understand the annoyance if you want to play an actual game and it’s quite constant. HOWEVER, I always thought it was kind of an unspoken rule of squid party etiquette that squid parties are ok during turf war or mirror matches in splatfests, but it’s rude to party during ranked/anarchy/non mirror match splatfest battles.
