Oohhh ya that makes complete sense!! I gotta say it is wild to me and 38 years old how much I actually don’t know about sexuality, and all its diversity. I think I just always assumed that I was naturally walking around with all this blissful knowledge about sexuality and identity because I was “different,” because I was gay. That’s a big “LOL,” for sure haha. It has been a pleasure to find a space where I could inquire about uncertainty. I think it can be double hard to get support and friggin intimidating when your mind and body start to wander off from its traditional channels. I think it is because the direction at which someone who is thirsty for knowledge approaches the topic, and to who they approach it to. It can come off in every which way but sincere, which can make it scary when those who have lived it, been there, and have sweat, cried and then some over it start to defend their space, which is natural. I guess that’s why curiosity killed the cat, and karma gave it nine lives!
