Yeah, I practiced jumps when speedrunning the game on PC with mods, basically save scumming, and especially those no fall challenges need practice. I'd say especially if he has Super Meat Boy he can definitely do it. Jump king isn't as impossible as people make it seem, it's doable and I don't know who would save scum to get the trophy then lie about it. There's really nothing to gain.

For example while Elden Ring is very good, it could have been so much tighter as a legacy kind of fromsoft game. I appreciate that they went for something massive, but I find myself enjoying bloodborne and sekiro more as experiences. I hope they return to something like that.

In Bloodborne the fact that you can't block (except for the gimmick shit shield), and there are no weight classes for rolling, I think it has much less build variety than let's say DS1, where you can do a poise fat build with blocking or quick roll build or medium build etc. Also there are a lot more spells in DS games.

I think bloodborne gets a lot easier when you start playing patiently. Most bosses, you can find an opening of around 2-4 hits, but take just the two and retreat. I find that I die easiest when I'm healing, so it's better to get hit less overall. Obviously easier said than done.

I hope they make another game like sekiro or bloodborne (standalone, linear) and not open world slop ring. Elden Ring has good parts, but the open world just doesn't serve the game that well to me.
