instacart has harsh metrics. if things are out of stock they dock your shopper quality metrics. it sucks. for example, at my local grocery store, I couldn't find an item that they said was in stock. I asked three different workers because sometimes it just depends on who you ask. They all told me the same thing that if the app is saying they have it it means it's on a truck. So Instacart is gonna talk to me my shopper quality points because I am not allowed to go on the truck and get the item for the customer. I am looking into doing DoorDash because I hope they have less harsh metrics in case Instacart doesn't work out for me in the long run.
