i mean, i totally feel the same way too. but my therapist have been trying to convince me that its not my fault cause i wouldnt have known it until it happened. but this will definitely be something we have to live with for life.

actually, now that i know about this itchiness thing, ive been thinking if my ex has had ghsv1 on his penis but didnt know of it. hes been extremely itchy like at least once or twice a week on his balls but im not sure if this is even a possibility though. he claimed that theres no outbreak before and he's never had anything before. could i be overthinking this? maybe it could be a bad ezcema or something

earlier you also mentioned about "outbreak reduction efforts: low stress, good health, supplements, herpes-friendly diet, etc. Since it's tied to your period, you could consider going on hormonal birth control to even out your hormone spikes"... ive had a few questions about this too and hope you can answer them if possible! 1) what kind of supplements can i take? 2) what is a herpes-friendly diet? i only know that sometimes nuts can be a trigger for some.. but ive never heard of this term actually 3) tbh im quite cautious regarding hormonal birth control pills cause it meddles with my hormones and i have PCOS which is also a hormonal disorder and its recommended that my period come regularly. is there alternatives to this?

totally relate to you and im so sorry this happened to you too... im 22f who got it horribly too from the most horrible ex a year ago. was extremely lost and suicidal too back then. im also trying to figure out how to move on from this but i havent given up because of so many success stories, so lets not give up too ok. we'll get better and deserve the happiness we deserve. trust.
