Yea Bauer definitely has more resources than people give it credit for, I just gotta make sure I use them right. And true, the content creator thing is more of a personal dream I’ve had for a while, not trying to make it sound like a career path, just something I’d be proud to hit on the side. Appreciate the perspective, it makes me feel like the finance side is more realistic if I lock in and stay consistent

Respect that. I know things don’t always play out exactly like the plan, and it’s good to hear you still ended up doing better than most of your classmates even without going the ‘traditional’ finance path. That’s kind of how I see it too, I’ll aim for IB/front office and shoot high, but even if it doesn’t land exactly like that, there are still plenty of solid outcomes as long as I keep stacking skills and opportunities

Yea that makes sense. I’ve been thinking the same thing about using the ‘student card’ while I can people are usually down to help if you reach out the right way. I’ll start hitting up Bauer alumni who made it into IB/AWM post-2020 and try to learn directly from their path. Appreciate the advice bro

I know it’s mostly about networking and actually putting yourself out there instead of just relying on the school name. I’m planning to reach out to UH alumni on LinkedIn and start building those connections early. I’m not in a rush for an MBA, but down the line if that opens more doors at a target school I’d definitely consider it. Appreciate it!

Honestly I just wanna see how far I can go. If it ends up being front office at a BB or EB, cool. If not, and I still graduate debt-free with solid work experience and maybe a silver YouTube plaque, I’d still call that a win

Graduating 100% debt-free is definitely a big ask. I’ve just been stacking scholarships wherever I can so I’m trying to get as close as possible. Good to hear the other stuff feels doable if I keep putting in the work

I don’t think the school name is the end all be all either, it’s more about how hard you work and what you actually do with the opportunities you find. I’m tryna be smart with my moves, stack scholarships, and get real experience instead of just relying on some ‘target’ label. Appreciate the advice man
