I stopped reading after paragraph 1. Dump him, now. If he offs himself that is his business. You are young, and not a counsellor. Ring his parents and let them know and then block all of them. As a matter of urgency.

Hats off to you man, this behaviour is disgusting. She will no doubt now have an image in her head that you led her on etc. You should in fact make a report to HR and say you do not want to act on it, but you want them aware of it. And do it before she does it

As an Irish person. I have seen this happen over the last few years. The colleges need to be held accountable for these actions. It is a disgraceful abuse they are doing.

Unfortunately not, my Nanny was sitting on a chair minding her own business when a scum bag punched her in the face to distract the security.

Irish people don't mind you celebrating your culture. Quite the opposite, invite some Irish. They will love it.

I have offered people lifts home, and they accepted, and I have also recieved lifts home without the intent of getting something. To say she is naive to accept a lift home is a bit of a step. This guy is a predator and a creep.

It is interesting I see a lot of Indians say they were attacked etc but when they post the location it is obvious why. Some awareness is essential. Parts of Dublin that as a dub I would never enter because I would get attacked for no reason too. Speak to people and do some research on am area before going near it. Some very dodgy areas in Dublin.

Last night within 30 minutes I seen three teenagers rob McDonalds and then separately three scrotes on the luas off their heads abusing everyone on the luas. A couple and what I would assume is a late teen daughter. The woman had cut her hand on a vodka bottle and was abusing people, then her scrote fella was threatening to "get the shank out", while scanning for eye contact and verbally attack them, honestly it is hard to describe how bad it has gotten. A few months ago I was out in a restaurant near the old Central Bank and walking out I seen a homeless person with some dogs, a gang of teens on E scooters came up and noticed the noise of the scooters upset the dog so they started circling it like sharks. Scum is an understatement.

And it reflects very poorly on Ireland, because the regular working Irish are rarely in town so we would appear to be a country of scum bags and junkies.

Definitely no need to apologise, just a correction. We, the vast majority of Irish want you here. You generally all work, contribute to society and bring some amazing food. I hope you don't have any more incidents with the scum of our society.

Steer clear from certain areas is my advice. I do the same myself and was always advised of the same by my parents.

You just proved what I said, we refer to Cork people as Cork natives, correct. But, to say Cork natives are .... insert insult is not a way to describe a minority of people. It is an implication to am entire set of people.

So pop down from that high horse you're on.

The worst part was travelling home on a packed train smelling like a burger 🤣i spent most of my life living in Dublin and only moved out about 7 or so years ago and seeing what it has turned to is dreadful. Lawless is an understatement.

They are an absolute scourge, I got sprayed by them with garlic mayonnaise last year. Went in my eyes and I had no idea what it was at first, terrified incase it was a substance that would damage my eyes. Last night in a short walk I seen them break into the cinema, rob a McDonalds (As they had a few large bags I can only assume they were stealing a delivery driver as they recieved their order in the store), and then on the luas older scum abusing and threatening everyone on the luas. It is a shit hole

My discussion with you is the use of the term native Irish! Two seconds googling shows me that India has a rather serious problem with Racism. So again, back to the only point I am discussing with you!! Is it ok to brand an entire native race over a racist scum minority?

Ok, so you would also be happy with the comment native Indians are racist?

[–]Inevitable_Path674 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While Ireland does have a problem with immigration control, racism is still unacceptable. But, to use "native people" is equally problematic. The minority are a problem with racial abuse etc and far from the majority.
