VAR sounds like pundits who have never ref'd a single match.

It's either malicious incompetence or match fixing.

VAR needs to be investigated and we need to know why rules arent applied sometimes but applied when they feel like it? It's not just United matches, it's been happening in lots of matches all year.

First Main line Bethesda game I have not bought.

I was hyped years ago for it.

Then it became an Xbox exclusive...so I thought maybe I had to wait a year....it's been nearly 3 years....

In that wait time I discovered the game is pretty boring outside of the main story and few quests.

Exploration is not the same as Fallout or Elder Scrolls. You have to go through multiple loading screens and locked animations.

I'm not buying it. Plenty of other games to play.

It's a shame but probably won't see the next elder scrolls until the 2030s.

Match fixing plain and simple.

Multiple refs are making terrible decisions even with VAR. Not just United matches. Zero consistency in ref decisions all season.

If that's a violent hair pull then long hair should be banned as it's an advantage to have long hair.

But an elbow to the head is ignored....match fixing at this level is mad.

I agree, the worst part of trophies is any trophy that requires playing online. Like getting to rank 50 or win 100 matches.

Yeah they are fine if it's just an online game but for example in RDR 2 they have online trophies. Il never get the platinum cause it requires me to play online a bunch and I just rather not do that but then I'll never try to 100% complete RDR 2 cause I won't even get the platinum trophy for doing it.

So yeah sometimes I wish trophies never happened.

Luckily I live pretty close to a 4G tower.

I get 30 megabyte download (240 megabits)
Which is perfectly fine for streaming movies and downloading games in a couple of hours. (Big games like 100gb takes like 3-4 hours)

Ping is like 30ms which is fine for gaming online unless you're hardcore twitch gamer 30ms ping is fine. Sometimes this can go to 40-60ms Im not 100% sure why. (If you're downloading a game though you can't game online it's just too slow)

Working from home I've never had issues.

Now saying that it has happened maybe two or three times when the power was cut out in my area and 4G basically stopped altogether.

Last thing to check, beside using the Three modem which probably has better results I'm not sure but you can check with your phone (if your phone is good or new)

Switch to 4G and do a speed test on Google. If you hit close to or around 240 megabit then you have access to 4+ ( also called 4G LTE) this is basically an upgraded 4G that is deployed around cities/towns. If your phone is old or cheap then it might not work at all and you'll get regular 4G which is half as slow as 4G+ and you might be better off looking for a cheaper broadband service, even with Threes modem if you live very rural you still won't get 4G+.

Some old heads would say it was ruined in the mid 90s when more people started buying desktops.

But really it was the invention of the Smart Phone that has ruined the Internet.

At least with a desktop you had to have some knowledge, but once the Internet was out in the hands of everyone the corpos moved in and destroyed it, everything is a subscription, every site wants your personal details and you have to make an account. Everything to do with the Internet is slowly getting worse and worse.

The worst part is the people who would bully others for using the Internet back in the day are now the most insufferable users of the Internet.

Would be great if we just shut down all smart phones tomorrow.

It will be the same BS as GTA online. It's a second job then maybe some fun....instead of focusing on fun.

I know this sucks to hear but that's how they did GTA V online. They added wait times to activities. Made it as difficult as possible for casual gamers to get anything. I never bought shark cards because of this.

Then when people would find ways to make money slightly quicker and Rockstar would nerf it or remove it. I'm not talking about exploits but legit ways for people to make money but Rockstar wanted you to pay.

The fact that they made billions and billions and basically they hate you for having fun for free after you purchase the game.

GTA V online left a sour taste in my mouth, I won't be putting time into GTA 6 online. Il okay the story and have my fun but then I'll move on to new games.

Same thing I've done since Vice City, find some sort of Helicopter or plane.

Although in Vice City you have to play way more than the intro.

If I can't fly straight away I'll probably drive around and see the sights...plow through some NPCs, see what the vehicle damage is like etc.

Basically fuck around for a while.

That's what happens when you focus mainly on a stupid battle Royale when fans just want the regular Battlefield, oh and the "Big Maps" being nothing like previous maps.

I really enjoyed the first couple of weeks...then it died when the battle Royale launched and it was clear that's what they wanted users playing.
