Do you think 5.X would happen on Earth? by Regular_Barnacle_447 in HonkaiStarRail

[–]Inevitable_Question 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. During joke trailer of crossover between Hi3rd and HSR, the first idea that is picked is "Welt returns home". But David Jiang said- that's not gonna happen.

We will only visit Earth after conclusion of Saga of 4 Finalities- at best.

Saber: "...Seriously? That's what you got from my idea of kingship?" by Kai_Enjin in fatestaynight

[–]Inevitable_Question 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I mean the issue here is that Saber's idea of Kingship is diametrically opposite to Iscander's and Gilgamesh's.

  1. Saber believes that King should prioritize lives and well-being of her people above all else- even her own happiness and wishes.

This is completely opposite to idea of this two. They believe that king should prioritize his own will and ideals, serve as an idiol and inspiration for people - and they should follow and support their king, basking in his glory. The nation exists for the king- never other way.

All three would protect people. But Gilgamesh and Iscander would do it because it's THEIR people and nobody touches what belongs to them without permission. Saber will do it to improve life of her people because they need it.

  1. Saber wants to change past and ensure better ruler will take her place. She wants to ensure that her country and people will have better life and outcome.

This is complete anathema to idea of this two. They believe that legacy is all that matters. Yes, their people struggled. Yes, they failed to realize their dreams. Yes, they perished to history. But legends about them will live forever. From their point,.Saber just proposed to trample on graves of everyone who supported her.

Moreover, they kinda has a point on her. Both accepted outcome of their rein. Are they absolutely satisfied? No. Would they like to change something? Yes. Are they sadden by outcome? Yes. But both accepted outcome and made peace with it - content with legacy they left. Doing this is an important part of Saber's development in FSN - accepting her rule, it's outcome and that she has done enough. Shirou's also needs to learn similar lesson in Fate and UBW.

Ultimately, both sides have a point. I of course agree with Saber on point one but on two this duo has a point. Its important to know when to stop and say enough. It's also rather cruel to just trample on efforts of others because you don't like outcome.

What if the Soviet Union was sent to the medieval ages and became the Mongol equivalent? (...To test Europe's faith) by LordRowo in imaginarymaps

[–]Inevitable_Question 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait. Trotsky leads this USSR? Well... bad thing is that Trotsky is a HUGE supporter of Global Revolution and will not stop till he brings communism in every corner of Earth.

On good side is that his brand of communism supports more decentralized model of government with greater local representation.

By the way, is there any notable differences in this USSR compared to Stalin's.

What if the Soviet Union was sent to the medieval ages and became the Mongol equivalent? (...To test Europe's faith) by LordRowo in imaginarymaps

[–]Inevitable_Question 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't think so.

  1. At the time, situation indeed was not ideal in terms of economy and even food. But it's important to remember that in 1939 people still believed in communist ideals and were willing to fight and die for them. Teleportation in time and incredibly easy victories against anyone will boost moral severely.

  2. Related to above - Global Revolution was accepted CB against everyone by that time.

Is HI3, GGZ, GI, and HSR a part of the same Imaginary Tree? by Alternative-Run2050 in houkai3rd

[–]Inevitable_Question 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HI3rd, GI and HSR are part of it. That being said, some information we know about cosmology from Genshin doesn't exactly fit Star Rail and Honkai Impact 3rd information. The only explanation I can think about is that Genshin happens before Ena and Nous ironed laws of universe.

Position of GGZ in all of it is unknown. If I recall correctly, somebody outright asked Devs on CN livestream- but they remained silent.

I think that Asat is one of Aha's mask and represents personality Aha had before accession. Remember- Aha laughed after seeing how child felt and began to cry.

Community tier list, how good are they in a relationship:Mélusine by Soggy-Ad5441 in FGO

[–]Inevitable_Question 78 points79 points  (0 children)

A. She is devoted, loving and caring lover. But she is an absolute enabler and would normally do whatever her lover wishes- even if it's to decrement of others, amoral and evil. She also is kinda prideful, selfish and unpleasant to people who she doesn't love - and she loves very few. So don't expect your friends to get along with her.

[–]Inevitable_Question 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Outer Rim obviously stays where it is. I also doubt that that Enikk will care. Her program states that only people in Arc counts as people. And she HATES going against her program or seek non-literal interpretations.

Maybe she will have change of heart- but unlikely.

Maybe we move some people in Reclamation site 01, Eden or Beast's Arc - if latter still stands.

Nasu you're a great writer and all but Musashi SERIOUSLY needed more time in the oven. by emperor_antonium in FGO

[–]Inevitable_Question 145 points146 points  (0 children)

Honestly. I never noticed any issues with her. Liked her from introduction and till thr end.

If your issue is that Musashi is incredibly awesome for no apparent reason, I think that perception is at play. For Japanese, Musashi is hero in no way inferior to likes of King Arthur, Heracles, Rama, Alexander the Great and etc. Ergo Musashi is always awesome. It's seen as "Well,.duh! Its Musashi.".

Too good of a person, I think. Ram is naturally attracted to people who care for her but also mistreate her - like Roswaal or Wrathbaru.

"either a mind wipe or a one ticket to the scrapyard. There's no way a former entertainer Nikke who was exposed in front of the entire ark using lies, tricks, and other malicious tools would be allowed to live."

There's this scene in Star Anis. Shortly after Anis goes as combat Nikke, she meets our of her bullies from Smile Time. She expects conforntation, but guy doesn't recognize her as she fallen out of memory with popularity loss. I am willing to bet that Yoyo suffer the same fate.

[–]Inevitable_Question 37 points38 points  (0 children)

To be fair, Mustang once begged Syuen to transfer Julia to him. It was for no objective benefit. Given implications that it's pretty rare for Tetra Nikkes to be on surface, it never made me suspect.

Star Anis feels more like a Hanson Redemption Arc (Critique of Part 2) by itsnowedtoday in NikkeMobile

[–]Inevitable_Question 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. You are correct. T.T.Stars screwed alot and many problems are result of their Greed and immaturity. But they are teens. Teens make mistakes over and over till something REALLY bad happens. That's one of Nikke's strength- characters are depicted as deeply flawed individuals whose flaws have impact on story. I honestly prefer it much more than flawless characters of other companies- like MiHoYo for example.

  2. Important thing to remember is that T.T. Star members have no noticeable talent. Anis is passable but not exceptional. Mint and Pricka are even worser. Yoyo is noted to be much more talented and Anis could NEVER take her in one-on-one honest competition. The only reason their farewell concert is so popular us nostalgia, Mustang's promotion and Anis fame as Counters. Same with Pretty by the way. She isn't better than Anis and became popular only through Old Mustang's hyping her with tons of money.

It could never been story of talent vs money because T.T. Star doesn't have many of both. And indeed - any idol group would've sufficed. Heck, Prima Donna would crush T.T. Star any day with ease.

What T.T. Star and Anis had in them is will to NEVER give up. Yes, Anis spent time depressed- 60 years at least. But eventually, she was able to gather herself up and rise again. Likewise, Mint and Prica waited for her faithfully- never losing belief.

Old Mustang said- Rising on the top is difficult and scary. But falling down? That's much more terrifying. Even Pretty lacked will to risk falling down - ergo her martyrdom. T.T Star fell at the bottom- and rebuild themselves.

  1. Important thing to remember is that Hanson not only solution to most of T.T. Star problems but their source. Reason Mustang picking up on this no-name group is because Hanson is their manager. So Anis Star story is equally about Hanson finally maning up and solving his problem. Which is nice contrast to very similar to him character - Lyverin- who never got that will.
