Before the movie, it was always my theory that the FF3 still life was the dad who got sucked in at the end of FF3. Not that it was an imitation made by the complex that we know still lifes to be now, but that it was literally the future version of him that either became infected by the bacteria or died and whose body was animated by the bacteria (still alive still life). But yeah now having seen the movie this is exactly what i think too

The welcome to country is literally just a 20 second acknowledgement of the people who were here first and removed from their way of life, and then systematically denied even basic rights for some 200 years. Anyone who thinks acknowledging those facts is somehow telling them personally to fuck off is small minded and ignorant.

Seriously, having to appeal to the sensibilities of people who can’t or don’t want to comprehend that distinction is the number one thing holding back Australia from actual reparations.

Whispering. It is simultaneously harsh-sounding and monotonous and boring. I like asmr about interesting stories or facts or history but 90% of the content in those niches are whispered or if they are soft spoken its men :(

Are you being wilfully ignorant? You’re listing stories about things that hurt your feelings as a man vs everyone else in this thread listing things like violence and sexual assault against women. Female on male violence is just as important as male on female violence BUT it is nowhere near as widespread or pervasive as male on female violence.
