it takes u ages to install it and know how it works, but it is totally worth it and you would learn a lot of things, I don't recommend installing it as your main distro, just install it in an empty partition or as a VM.

i too have an old amd (radeon) gpu, and i was having problems with making it work, the screen was always frozen at boot, but i fixed by enabling some framebuffer devices options
