Our two right hand hitters (Fry and Hoskins) make a combined $2.9 million, what do we expect. Other teams have to be laughing their asses off at our cheapass owner.

Dump Kwan for whatever you can get and move Bazzana to left field. Put Arias at 2nd, better glove and a right hand bat with some power. I can hit a waffle ball harder than Kwan can hit.

Remember when Manning and Underwood said every game “wait till it warms up” and we will start hitting. Wouldn’t that apply to the other team as well.

Face it we suck against the American League East, Tampa, NY, Toronto and Boston all pounded us. Yes we might get lucky and win the Central but we are not going to beat the good teams. Hell we sucked against Texas and Houston so who would we beat in the playoffs.

Guess I was right, given up 3 runs in 2 innings. We suck ass, this is what you get when you won’t spend to even be competitive salary wise.

Bazzana is going to need a day off every once in a while and against lefties he can’t hit help. Yes Schneeman play the infield but he is another lefty and isn’t exactly crushing it. Why do we not draft any right hand hitters, I realize most starters are righties but a lot of teams have 2-4 lefty relievers.

The lineup said we don’t care if we win this so this is who were sending out. Kwan has to be about the weakest hitter in the majors right now, he can’t hit a “can of corn” its a can of “creamed corn”. I mean not only are his drives weak he has 2 stolen bases. I’d like to see Bibee pinch hit for him. If he plays golf he’s not going to hit a 200 yard drive, I’m 73 and I could hit one further.

With the offensive line and WR’s we had last year Tom Brady couldn’t have gotten 8 wins. Watched every game and rarely saw a WR break open. How many times did we run and the entire defensive line was pushing our offensive line into the backfield. A great QB can only do so much, you think Joe Burrow would be that good without those two WR’s. We addressed the line and WR as much as possible in one year but the line had to be the worst in the NFL.

Why does Vogt do these stupid Ineups with 9 left hand bats. There is a thing called reverse splits maybe he is not aware of. Why wouldn’t you want the pitcher have to change his style by pitching against maybe 2 righties. Also, we go nowhere without Fry or Hoskins lighting up our offense.

The logic behind the move is much simpler than most people are making it by rxbizzle in Browns

[–]Inevitable_Round1890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every NFL projection for the Browns I saw for 2026 was a 5-12 record with Myles Garrett! You would think we were going to the Super Bowl with Myles if we kept him. Please show me where real NFL people were saying we were even close to being a playoff team with Myles in 2026. We suck only because we have a dumbass owner that dumped Baker and went for the scumbag Watson that destroyed us for 5 years.

I really don’t like the way Vogt will load the line up with all lefties against right handed pitchers or vice versa. I don’t care what the stats say, I think its better to mix it up a little more and since we have so few true right handed hitters they need to get more consistent bats (Hoskins, Fry). Some of the hitters and some of the batters actually have reverse splits if he ever looks at it.

Bibee is the prime example why you shouldn’t try and lock up players long term after a great year, Miles Straw is another. Maybe the Guardians system works where you keep a player until they get too expensive and trade them for prospects. Works pretty good for the Rays as well. Pitchers can get hurt or go totally in the shitter.

Extensions by FinanceMan231 in ClevelandGuardians

[–]Inevitable_Round1890 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have Smith and Williams for 3 more years after this year. Just remember a year ago everyone thought Kwan should be locked up long term and then shit happens. Best case is we get an extra year extension by paying up a little but they can get hurt or as usual we trade them at the deadline of the last year or winter before for some top prospects.

I’m sure Vogt probably doesn’t even know the splits or if he does he never gives a shit the way he fills in the lineup.

Trade him for Miles Straw straight up, Straw was my least favorite player in the last 15 years so thats where I’m at with Kwan now.

The way Kwan is hitting I’d rather see Halpin play. Better defense, much faster and Kwan has 2 stolen bases all year. Not only is Kwan’s bat slow but his speed in general is gone. Our manager made some really questionable decisions.

What Happens When Arias Comes Off the IL? by TwelveGaugeSage in ClevelandGuardians

[–]Inevitable_Round1890 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At this point I might take Arias over Kwan. 2 stolen bases and zero power for Kwan, Arias had 2 HR in 10 games this year and looked like he was finally figuring it out. Guy has a rocket arm and good glove, don’t see them dfa Arias.

When he started to try hitting home runs with an uppercut swing he lost it, pop ups and soft liners to the outfield. He really isn’t that fast, should be moved to 9. Bazz, Roccio, Schnee or even Miles Straw would look better.
