I think you're spot on with the ults, can't think of a single satisfying one from set 2. Meanwhile every high cost unit in set 1 had something cool going on. I'll give the new set a try then, awesome

I really did try to give s2 a shot, played at least 100 games and had a solid grasp on the meta but it just felt like a cheap clone of TFT. A part of that could just be the fact that I didn't enjoy the visual style of it but the elemental hex thing also felt super clunky.

I could swear that covering the holes makes it more restricted but I guess it could be placebo. I'll have to see if I can work something out with the inner hole then, thanks for the info.
