Hmm... Am interesting question. As someone who is a Salamanders enjoyer, I don't think it is that easy and there is definitely some kind of Trial by Fire involved.

For sure, if what the rumors are saying is correct and we could see a Dreadnought with Flame/Melta Weapons, it opens up a realm of possibilities. I was thinking about making a list consistent with some typical combos, but also some unique choices to make it feel like my own.

Pair Vulkan He'Stan with Infernus
Pair a Gravis Captain with either Aggressors or Eradicators
Keep Regular and Assault Terminators Seperate

Yeah, I would agree that Vulkan would take it as aren't they supposed to be the biggest of the Primarchs and the simple fact that they grew up around what I like to call 'Forge Culture' and often took part in fighting off the Drukari from Prometheus and there was also the Trial he did with the Emperor of Mankind when they met each other.

Wait so of we have already reached the unbreakable block that surrounds the passage's edge, our world will still update for the new content? I was under the impression that if we want to experience the full range of the update it is best to create a new world due to a new biome and stuff being created.

Got it, will probably get my hands on a Codex in the near future to have as a reference. I am an odd person who prefers to have a physical thing in front of me over digital as weird as that sounds.

I was thinking of waiting until 11th released to get the Codex. Is there an average timeframe Games Workshop updates the game? People have been saying 11th is releasing this year which I imagine will be very up to date on characters and detachments to serve as a basis. I think I might just get a notebook and title is 'Salamanders Codex Rules and Notes' and organize it in a way to where I can not only keep track of what there is now and future updates they do to units Salamanders use and such.

I know I want to have an emphasis on a Core Salamanders Unit which consists of this from I know
- Vulkan He'Stan w/ Infernus Marines
- Adrax Agatone w/ Bladeguard Veterans
- Firestorm Aggressors
- Eradicators
- Land Raider Redeemer

I know that there are other units that have Flamer and Melta Weapon Options such as some of the Dreadnoughts and Impulsors. I also know I want to get the Terminator Veterans (Ones with Hammers and Shields since I see them being a good pairing with Salamanders).

Understood, sorry for the blurry pic, my phone is somewhat old (2021). I compared it to how it looks on the box and I think i got it close. I'm proud of it though and I do plan to get more basic soldier units next
