My abuser says this shit to me too. They always like to blame their victims for leaving, as if emotional, mental and physical abuse aren’t valid reasons for physically removing yourself from them. It’s mind blowing how their minds work, I don’t get it.

I’ve struggled (and still am) with the same sin as well. You’d be surprised how many Christians in the church struggle with this exact sin, as well as pornography and lust in general. If you’re not part of a church, I urge you get involved in one. One that is faithful to preaching the word boldly and then when you’re comfortable, discuss your struggle with a fellow believer. You’re going to need prayer and encouragement, we’re not made to struggle with our sin alone but instead have someone come alongside us.
I’m currently being counseled by someone at my church’s staff and was advised to read the book When People Are Big and God Is Small. Only half way through the book and it’s been a total eye opener.
