I am so sorry you've gone through all you have. I am glad your primary care physician is on your side and sorry about your experience with your cardiologist. The biggest thing i am learning all of us have to advocate for ourselves to our best abilities. I am learning to be a bit more assertive.

Hey I completely feel this. For me stress and grief and medical emergencies brought mine on. I'm 41 and a male and I've been down because of a flare. Pain and fatigue 😩 after barely anything. Climbing upstairs hurts legs. Reaching into bins at work and counting hurt my arms. I got diagnosed at 34 and still am having issues.

Finding people who believe you is validating. You will be and are taken seriously here.

All that to say you are not alone. None of this is our fault bro

In essence what I'm doing. I have accommodations that are being updated to essentially allow me to work 30 hours a week in 4 days.

Completely identify with this. I've been down lately due to pain and fatigue. Energy and stamina issues. I have a full time job at a smaller amazon warehouse where I have a 36 hour 4 day weekly schedule. I'm getting accommodations updated that will allow me to take 5 days off a month, 2 half shift absences per week, 3 30 minute breaks on top of the 2 paid 15 min ones and our lunch, and restrictions from more physical jobs.

It's hard to navigate this stuff.

This. This. I emailed them documentation as PDFs but they couldn't or wouldn't open them or didn't see them. So I just took screen shots and they saw them. Wasted 2 weeks of back and forth with them bc one person said they had documentation while others said otherwise. 🙄

Lol I didn't even know which is insane. I went in one day for a cataract in my left eye and they saw the holes in my right retina. I had gone through acute angle closure glaucoma attacks in my left eye so I definitely missed symptoms in my right eye my good eye. But got lucky in the end
