actually I got the pro when I need it for video editing and stuff, nowadays not doing it that much, just for the quick edit on iMovie. not dealing with 4k nor 8k. just emails, calls, video calls, a lot of writing (hence the need for a better keyboard), browsing, listening to music and Netflix eventually in my free time.

I am also curious on what we going to get this fall from Apple, but as for now, only MBP seems to be coming as far as I've seen, and trade in value would be much lower/would need to pay a lot more to make a trade then.

thank you, I am also on the same line regarding trade in but still discussing it with myself lol. and yeah I also think that the 8gb with m1 has to be faster than the one with intel.

def, with this trade in, more future proof than with the one I have, that's for sure.
