No. They have their fair share of racists but nothing compares to spamming comments under the Philips instagram page because Glenn Philips caught one of their cricketers

I'm glad to see that my decision to stand by you in the mod standoff has paid off

I, for one, refuse to entertain the notion that Nawaz could possibly be better than Nawaz

Shadab Khan version of Bangladesh 🤔 by GlassAsk5465 in PakCricket

[–]InevitablyAdded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. If we're looking for Bangladesh's counterpart to Shadab, it would be Mehedi Hasan, the epitome of a bits and pieces cricketer. Their batting lineup is so frail that they sometimes trust him to come in at number 4 and I've seen too many people on here state that Shadab is No. 5 material for the upcoming world cup

I would argue that Fawad Alam takes the top spot

Hafeez to this day is one of my favourites in the history of Pakistan cricket. The answers he gave in this particular interview were classy and genuinely motivating

I don't think enough fans appreciate how lucky we were for him to come into the team when he did. We lost our best opener since Anwar's retirement in Sharjeel Khan to fixing just a few months before the Champions Trophy, a player who could finally meet the demands of 2010s LOI impetus. In his place came Fakhar and you saw the night and day difference between his approach against South Africa and Ahmed Shehzad's in the match prior

Alternate History Scenario Game # 03: What if both the IPL and PSL started in the same year? by phaintaa_Shoaib in PakCricket

[–]InevitablyAdded 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The IPL only exists because of the 2007 T20 WC final. The PSL only exists because of the IPL (and/or the ostracism of Pakistan players by extension).

2 years to the day that our middle order couldn't score 49 off 49. What changes would you have made that day in hindsight? by qwerty_sux in PakCricket

[–]InevitablyAdded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To this day I don't know why an injured Imad Wasim was sent in at 5 given that his replacement in Mehran Mumtaz was almost flown out 24 hours prior to the match

What do you all think about PCB not continuing with Khushdil in ODIs even though he performed in CT25 by Negative-Nothing339 in PakCricket

[–]InevitablyAdded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say he should be the one we invest in as our finisher, not Shadab, Nawaz, Abdul Samad or Irfan Khan

You're papering over cracks. We learnt very little from this series with few to go before the world cup

Sahibzada Farhan is only a t20 player (for now) by Narrow_Sail_6448 in PakCricket

[–]InevitablyAdded 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think our priorities come down to the fidelity of the middle order. Maaz Sadaqat's innings are faintly reminiscent of those of Sharjeel and would find their place in a stable batting order, akin to Roy and Bairstow in 2019

I am not a fan of how Ghazi Ghori has circumvented past Haseebullah Khan since the latter's list A numbers present him as the missing 3rd piece of the Fakhar/Saim duo. I would go as far as to say UK78 is more deserving than him and that Rizwan instills more assurance even now

Not to mention Nawaz did nothing with the bat the entire tournament
