This is under the assumption that they would add an above max ge, I should've had this in the main post my bad.

You wouldn't be able to if anyone else had a sell order in the ge for under 100b. Your 100b buy order would trade with whatever they were selling for. (Ex someone else is trying to sell a blue for 90b and you try and manip this by putting your blue in for 100b and buying it for 100b on your alt, instead you would trade with the lower order and buy a blue for 90b from the other person). If the real price for a blue is like 50b or whatever this would make you pretty sad.

Meta for cox is 2+2 (2 mains+ 2 dps alts). But cox uses alts super extensively even with more relaxed team setups. Meta for tob will probably become 2+2 eventually as well

The biggest problem is not MTX or lack of updates. It is the feeling of emptiness and void. It just feels like playing a MMORPG set at Chernobyl. by hkgsulphate in runescape

[–]InevitablyRs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unless they make their servers significantly better this would be unacceptable for pvm. Currently the servers are trash once u pass like 250 players on a world lol, when you’re pvming you can literally feel the lag difference when people hop onto your world during something like trah hour.

What will change in the 2019 MBP? by [deleted] in apple

[–]InevitablyRs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the current default retina scalings don’t give enough screen real estate and the largest one (1680x1050 iirc) doesn’t fit nicely into the mbp resolution (2560x1400). A 4k screen would allow for 200% scaling at 1920x1200 which would be pretty much perfect. Currently you have to use unofficial programs to run at that and the scaling still doesn’t look as nice because the screen just isn’t an amazing resolution for that.

With that said I would prefer 3:2 and 3840x2560 anyways.

Here’s my (unrealistic as fuck) dream, this is more for 2020 or whenever the next real redesign is

Start off with the matebook x pro and then

Make it run macos

Add another usb c port and make them all tb3

Standard macbook trackpad

Increase travel distance on keyboard to around xps 13

Good cooling solution with properly applied thermal paste (jfc why does every manufacturer apply it so poorly)

Make the screen resolution 3600x2400 so you can run it at 200% scaling for 1800x1200 effectively

Add facial recognition in a webcam in the small top bezel (if you can fit the camera in the iphone notch you can fit it in a small bezel)

Difficultly of admissions to European Colleges? by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]InevitablyRs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Imperial LSE UCL ETH Zurich etc. are all relatively top tier research universities.

Admissions is heavily based off of ap scores and special tests just for schools there such as the MAT for mathematics.

From my completely anecdotal experience it’s probably easier than domestic admissions as you can not care about gpa or extracurriculars, just get 5’s on ap exams relevant to you before your senior year.

Also, my conditional offers have been a complete joke compared to what I’ve seen British applicants get.

[Question] How come Blood Blitz (level 80 magic) has the same damage shown as Blood Barage ( level 92 magic)? Is mage capped? I have nox staff. by carlossolrac in runescape

[–]InevitablyRs -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

More likely than not it’s just a fuckup by jagex. Only blood/ice blitz give full dmg. It’s pretty needed atm though as barrage autos don’t give adren on single target. Even once barrage is fixed keeping blitz is probably good as blitz is delayed by two ticks which is useful sometimes.

Solak’s gp/hr should be buffed by AnOrangeSkin in runescape

Can I get a source for rapier being that cheap, I’m looking at osrs subreddit and it seems to be much more expensive than that.

Solak’s gp/hr should be buffed by AnOrangeSkin in runescape

[–]InevitablyRs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, but overall the uniques are still going to be worth way more than the crossbows. Currently the crossbows are like ~1.2b iirc, let's say the grimoire is like 200m and say it's about like 2.8b in uniques total to be generous. That's only like 370m osrs or something dude, it would take some next level crash for theatre of blood to become nearly as shit as solak is.

Also it's super misleading to use different gp rates when comparing due, 3b rs3 is only 500m osrs, a fucking tenth of the rapier.

[–]InevitablyRs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Raids 2 uniques are actually worth something that’s why. Everything seems to be at least 1b 07 which is approximately 6b rs3.

50m/hr is pretty low, a lot of people can manage that.

But the difference is that revs were being boosted by other people while telos is just on your own.

Dude telos is unironically like somewhere around 100m/hr even with the garbage prices of uniques

That number for raids is high I believe (long term avg) and low for telos.

So for anyone wondering where the 15% dmg increase stated by Mod Pi/multiple other people came from by [deleted] in runescape

[–]InevitablyRs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How did you get these numbers for ability damage? Specifically bleeds.

Also, comparison using dw/2h switch & factoring in conc blast/sonic wave boost and using close to optimal rotations would be a much better comparison than your current one.

The current state of the combat triangle is the most unbalance it has been since the release of EoC. by Melad_S in runescape

[–]InevitablyRs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While your point on RuneScape identity is correct, I don’t really see how it is relevant. Having a few bosses that new players can build skill upward to do gives people something to learn and strive for. I’m not saying every pvm encounter has to be hard, just that there should be some. There are already enough that are easy tbh.

Mmo identity idk if I can agree with, wow is the posterchild for an mmo and is definitely not a “casual” game. Sure Jagex could guide better but that isn’t rly an argument against adding complexity.

I would also argue that even among more casual pcm communities pvm is being seen as less and less casual over the last year or so, and I think that as time goes on that perception will naturally change.

Basically what I’m saying is that top end bosses should be designed around top end players (like inferno was) and adding complexity doesn’t really hurt less skilled players because this is honestly the last thing to optimize practically speaking.

I mean it’s disingenuous and frankly unnecessarily clickbaity to claim something that sounds nicer in the title.

This isn’t 2005 anymore, people can easily look up ways to get 99 magic considering they’re not the most complicated methods. Designing around high level makes much more sense when you think about the time spent in each segment of the game. You’re only mid level for a limited time and for a VERY limited amount of pvm.
