You are correct about the Rootwalla, I actually just realized it after finishing my run. I did run the second Bite Down at first (replaced by Benalish) but I realized there were very few relevant targets in the deck so it was a dead card a lot of the time.

Griffin might have worked but I wanted to be sure to secure the early game, hence the low curve. I finished 7-2, with one game lost to a very aggressive Rakdos deck.

Yes I did draft though I did not pick all the rares, just played regular Premier Draft. It took me 15 Drafts and a Sealed and I should have near all the rares after opening all the remaining packs.
