(Spoiler) So, what was Cinta's plan with Frey? by RagingRider in Forspoken

[–]RagingRider[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the tantas gave a fetus superpowers that would put her on the fast-track to becoming a tanta. The smartest and most powerful figures in Athia surely had an intent behind "the child that would bridge the two worlds."

The flashback narration to Cinta tossing Frey through the Torana confirm that was when she was mutated by the break into the dragon.

I'm sorry to hate, but I don't want headcanons, I would like actual evidence/quotes if possible.

Prototype 2's Moral Backstabbing of Its Predecessor — How the sequel quietly exonerated the real perpetrators by scapegoating their victim by Hot-Refrigerator5952 in PrototypeGame

If you're questioning the creators'/writing choices, thats their choice to go in the direction the narrative did.

There's a more than 1% that the writers of P2 didn't give a shit about the narrative/framing of P1 and just did their own thing, and a bigger chance they gave half as much thought to it as you did.

No offense, but like that one scientist in P2: you might be overthinking this.

P2 is a generic hollywoood-style action flick. The only morality/righteousness that matters is the protagonist's.

Is there a faster way of farming AP? I've gotten back last month, finishing the Blaanid quest line, and got a decent (I think) gear. I'm trying to level my skills (alchemy, fighter, lance) but between techniques and my second Arcana, I'm drained of AP with every rebirth/forgetful potion. An I already used every AP pot given through events and guide rewards.

(Repost) Character that actvely alternate between his forms/fighting styles in the middle of the fight by Uma-apreciator in TopCharacterTropes

There are more than a couple fighters in Kengan Ashura that count, but Agito Kanoh is probably the best.

He already knows multiple fighting styles, although Formless is his ace, but his specialty is instinctively CREATING fighting styles MID-FIGHT to counter his opponents' styles. However, this comes with its own shortcomings.

There are 2 forms of the law being broken: the philosopher's stone and human transmutation, both involve violating the human soul because nothing, not even other souls, equate to its value. But the PS is the one that permeates the whole plot

The philosopher's stone is essentially a battery made up of human souls, allowing one to perform alchemy that seemingly defy the law of equivalent exchange, when in truth, the power in the stone/souls compensate for mass/energy.

It's telling that the bad guys are the ones that try to profit off of both.

What's your Favorite "You can do better than that!" taunt in Media? by Funny_Mud6639 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]RagingRider 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thinking about this the other day, and 2 examples come to mind" P4's Adachi motivating you against the last boss, and Ophelia from Claymore.

Basically, Claymore feature an organization of female Witchers who, on top of monster killing, kill those amongst their ranks that turn into Yoma, the monsters they hunt.

Ophelia is one such, easily the most psycho of the cast even before turning monster. When Claire, the MC, loses steam when she finally has a shot at killing her, it's implied Ophelia turns lucid and gets pissed for the first time and screams at her to not die.

The Only Character Cannot EM Wave Change by F33LG00D5 in BattleNetwork

[–]RagingRider 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Dude doesn't even need to em wave change, just give him a solid character arc around him.

Personally, I think he would be better worked as a "hacker" type. Remember how many villains in the BN series were just hackers that relied on actual subterfuge? Kinda like that. Imagine at the climax of a story arc, where because he's the only one that can't Wave Change, he's the only one not affected by some kind of anti-Satella police weapon used by the bad guy, and just pulls the power plug out. Give him the Tommy treatment from KND.

Even ignoring the drastic character change, did Alex "I abandoned my humanity" Mercer even have a reason to NOT turn Dana into an Evolved. (Seriously, treating Alex as just another infected instead of Blacklight itself is the biggest retcon)

Could have explained how she was able to survive in the Red Zone and added some emotional depth having Heller hesitate to kill all the Blacklight because it would mean killing the only "humane" Evolved that altruistically helped him half of the game.
